It was quite a shock-- and a pleasant one, at that-- to be flipping through the usual little magazine that comes in the Sunday paper and suddenly landing on a picture of Midori tying up one of her female subs. I bet a few teenage boys ended up stealing that section of the paper before mom and dad got to see it!

   I would have said the same thing about Reba if she had had as unflattering an image as the woman known as the "fetish diva." Most people who are going to put their names as far into the media as Midori has seem to have a bit better control over their image.

   I have attended several classes or programs taught by Mistress Midori and 2 taught by Mistress Reba. Both are highly regarded as experts in the aspects of BDSM that they teach. Both are attractive and have many admirers who go to great lengths to have a chance to play with them. (Didn't get the paper, so I didn't see the picture)

I wanted to craft some kind of response to the earlier thread on sex within scenes, why it sometimes does and doesn't happen. I think that any person interested in having good scenes should explore taking classes and going to programs to have a clearer understanding of what is likely to go on in first or second scene with a new play partner. Having more basic knowledge will allow one a better chance to find a wider circle of potential play partners. Also, it is important to understand the basic contract between a top and a bottom, or dom and sub, and the responsibility that each one has to themselves and to each other.
