You asked for some suggestions... These are all club scenes. There was a group of BBW's that advertised GB parties weekday and weekend P2P, but I never cared for that scene. I was acquainted with a couple of the providers who've moved on since then.

BBN, SAS and FFE or Big Boogie Nights, Sexy at any Size and Full Figure Entertainment. OH! Can't forget Heavy Rotation in SF.

Sadly BBN shut down a few months ago. Towards the end it seemed to be a drama destination, think high school games. I guess after 8 years there was just too much baggage. Never bothered me I always went just for fun.

SAS just went under (seemed unexpected)after only 2-3 years. Both of these used to have size friendly parties in Milpitas. Then BBN moved to San Jose and Concord, after a few attempts at different locations BBW gave up on the South Bay scene.

Then SAS seemed poised to take on the scene picking up where BBN left off and was going to have parties in Walnut Creek (as I recall) and keeping with Milpitas alternating every 2 weeks.

For now there's nothing being promoted in the South Bay. I have always thought I'd enjoy hosting parties, and now that there's a void... hmmmm....

So that leaves FFE http://www.fullfigureentertainment.com, presently in Oakland but they toyed with a San Mateo event, and have also visited San Francisco at Asia SF (bet that was wild!) but I missed those events as I am not thrilled to deal with the parking and hassles of SF.

Never been to Heavy Rotation (http://www.myspace.com/heavy_rotation) which earns my nod by aiming to attract "anyBODY that wants to participate in creating a safe and empowering place to get your groove on!!! body rebels, size queens, radical fatties, chubsters, transfolk, queers, and our friends and lovers of ALL colors, genders, sexualities and ages 21 and beyond!!

Now that I have put my hat in, I should get my 'gibooty' up there for that scene. Guess that means setting aside my complaints about going into SF to play.
