"Picking up salesgirls at Fry's..."

I was bored yesterday afternoon, so I went to Fry's...and there was this girl that was hot, showed a fair amount of cleavage, talked about how hot she was in her fake sweater bolero? combination which was probably why she couldn't take the sweater off...anyway, I can't stop thinking about her...Has anyone ever had any luck with a salesgirl?

What Fry's store was this? lol. Brokaw Rd, Hamilton Rd., Sunnyvale or Fremont? I don't normally see much talent at Fry's. They come & go do to the low pay & crappy working environment, I imagine. If you work in IT, and can help them out, then you might have a shot.

My two cents: try not to look like a stalker.

I can only recall one Fry's salesgirl who looked like a worthy endeavor. This was years ago and I was working at an office across the street from the Sunnyvale Fry's. I regularly took the train to work, but this particular morning I was late and was winging it on a different bus route to make the final leg of my commute. A beautiful young woman in a nice summer dress got on the bus and engaged in conversation with some other regulars or friends. No chance at conversation there. We both got off at the same stop. She immediately proceeded to walk, as I stood and studied the posted schedule looking for the connecting bus to take me to work. I finally ascertained that I must have missed the connection and would either have to wait a long time or hoof it. The girl had disappeared around the corner, but I took off in that direction. Pretty soon I could see her up ahead and eventually caught up to her just as she turned into the Fry's parking lot. She looked back over her shoulder and I found myself trying to look like I was walking purposefully toward another destination so as to ensure her that I was not following her. Catholic guilt trip, I guess? Anyway, I soon put the little hottie out of my mind as I wondered what crisis might be awaiting me upon my late arrival at work.

At lunch I decided to browse the goodies at Fry's as I did sometimes when I had no lunch engagements, whether I needed some computer stuff or not. As I was wandering aimlessly in the store I remembered the girl in the dress and wondered if she came there to buy something or if she worked there. No sooner had the thought popped into my head when I saw her walking down the isle looking right at me! I stopped and did a double take, then sheepishly grabbed something off the shelve beside me and began to study it. I felt completely busted, even though all I was guilty of was eyeing (discretely, I thought) a young woman in a nice dress. I hastily curtailed my browsing session and made my way to the exit. Never saw her again.

Anyway, I have not cracked the code for Fry's salesgirls, though my account should serve as a sure-fire way not to make that good first impression.

Now, on a bit of a tangent; How to crack the "young up and coming minor league pitcher" code:

http://www.examiner.com/x-35434-Minor-League-Baseball-Examiner~y2010m5d30-Female-pitcher-makes-history

18yo Japanese, 5'-1" 115 lbs. That's all the stats I could find (other than the pitching stuff). I'm thinking about a field trip to Chico. Maybe I'll pose as a Playboy photographer?

Funny...

Last weekend I was at Sloat garden center... there was a very cute, outgoing, college student who was only around for another week. We got to talking because she found out where I went to school. Turns out she didn't go there, but she's from there.

I TOTALLY regret not being more blunt with her and basically asking if she'd like to have a lot of fun in her remaining time in California.

Gotta take advantage of those situations even if you get rejected -- nothing to lose.

I'm one to admit my own weaknesses.

1) Never been good at spontaneous comebacks or wit when I most needed to be.
2) Never been good at picking up girls, especially in spontaneous, clutch moments.

My success with women and in life is in large part despite the two items above. I've been much more of a "steady as she goes", long term performer.

Guys that you so call good at picking up women are just fearless and don't care about rejection. Out of 20 rejection they will bound to hit.

There is some serious truth in that. I had a friend who was fearless. He did not give a shit about rejection or anything and he did amazingly well. Not pitching was not in his vocabulary.

This is classic stuff, Vandelay. The ironic thing is Ratner ended up with Stacey though. Good handle.

About five years ago I bought a suit at the Men's Warehouse from a Japanese woman. She's was quite good in picking the right suit for me and when I went to pick it up, I told her I wanted to take her to lunch. I bedded her a few weeks later and then off and on since. It happens, but you have to have some serious mojo since many sales girls see and hear a lot of BS from guys.

Sacramento Fry's has more than a couple of young sales ladies that I have sought out repeatedly to get advice from purportedly, but mostly just to talk with them as they are totally hot.

If I were in their age range it seems a real possibility as they seem to enjoy the attention and diversion. There's actually an asian MILF in the GPS section whose twins are either serious C or smallish D and reminiscent of many fond memories of L.A. AMP's.

Damn, I'm thinking a trip over there's in order in the morning, maybe try to get nervy and see if I can get banned and have to resort to the Roseville store, but it'd be so worth it, totally.

Smallish tight blouses usually showing cleavage then they climb around on the ladders for the higher items and it's simply a lovely thing to behold.

Hell with it, gotta have a sure thing, scratch Fry's, regular AMP and I'll be the 1st dude of the day that's a nice start to a furlough Friday. Cheers!

Many years ago there was a Wilson's Leather store and I needed a very cool jacket (1980's) I met this hot little Filipino/Spanish girl with a Spanish accent. She was very petite, 5' with long black wavy hair. Incredible skin and beautiful eyes. We talked about coats for awhile and it was all smiles. I got her number and we started hooking up and ended up seeing each other off and on for a few years. She ended up working as a manager at Fredricks and I would meet her at work when the store was closing and we would go at it in the dressing rooms.

Good times

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

Just like everyone else, I have regrets about lost opportunities. Over the years I've reached these (not too startling) conclusions:

- most women like guys to make the first move

- most women react favorably to real confidence (not false bravado)

- social skills get better with practice

One of the paradoxes of dating (I'm told), is that beautiful women can find it hard to get decent dates because regular guys are reluctant to approach them.

So, practice. Be prepared to get turned down most of the time. Remember that there are lots of legit reasons for being turned down that don't have to do with you. If you strike out, don't creep out. Just move on.

Build your skills by approaching girls who are attractive and friendly, but not the rock-your-world types. Sooner or later you'll be successful. A few successes with coffee dates at Starbucks will make you more confident when you encounter that hottie you can't stop thinking about.

You may do better when your initial approach is about something of possible mutual interest. With a salesgirl, try asking for an opinion about a product, advice on buying a gift for a relative, how she likes the paperback she's reading -- something simple that gets a conversation started and demonstrates you are paying attention to something about her other than her cute face or her hot bod. Come across as warm and trustworthy. If it goes well, ask her if she'd like to chat over coffee.

FWIW, I think that seeing providers can also be helpful. Skilled providers makes you feel like the king of the world for an hour, and many of them have accomplishments and interests worth talking about. Spend a little extra on a longer session and engage in some small talk. It's like, "Hey, I just had a great conversation with this beautiful naked woman about her film collection (or economics or music or veterinary science)." Talking with a gal who's just given you some great head can be a confidence builder -- even when you substitute cash for the icebreaker.

peas,
Aprime
