   Starting today, the Green Door Booths are priced at $100 for 15 minutes.

Construction on new cabanas also starts today. Please excuse the mess while they are under construction.

   Continuing the right trend, though as my esteemed fellows state, unclear whether it's quite enough yet. Interestingly, it's almost as if management is reading the group, the cabanas and the higher-end booths were two of the things we most recently whined about (though we've been complaining about the cabanas for a very long time). That's actually great news, if MBOT management is listening

All of this put together, particularly the cabanas (depending on how they're priced! There's still room to completely blow this), is theoretically enough to get me back to at least peek in. Unfortunately, I might be a living example of why you shouldn't alienate your best customers -- since MBOT management made it clear that they don't give a shit about my patronage a couple of years ago, I've managed to fill the void with a combination of FBSM girls and the non-extras clubs, and I've established really fun relationships I'm loathe to give back up. I never would have bothered exploring this area if things hadn't become so unsatisfying at MBOT, I liked it so much at the time I didn't think there was a good reaplacement

I should add that if, in fact, it's management trying to win back their previous customers, the next thing they should absolutely nail is the schedule. MBOT is one of the few clubs where the girls schedule reasonably far in advance; there's simply no excuse for not posting the schedules and keeping them up to date. It should be fast and easy to change the website, and no need for anything fancy, a simple text list is all anyone needs, no need to keep over-engineering this. Being able to schedule days in advance, knowing the girls I want to see will be there, is important. In fact, the club I currently patronize instead of MBOT gets next week's schedule out at the end of the previous week -- would rather it was the whole month, but it's better than MBOT's early-afternoon-on-day-only updates.

Agreed they've gotten a lot better, but they're still just posting a single day at a time, about an hour or two after opening on that same day. If they're going to make it hard for me to see who is dancing at least a few days in advance so I can arrange to get away at work, I'm going to continue making it hard for them to get me to go back. There's a bunch of clubs whose lineups for (say) this Friday I can see today. I'd love to see Skylar Price, can I tell if she's working on Friday? No? Oh well, there's a girl I like at a different club, and I conveniently can tell from their website she *is* working.

I almost could have written this myself, except for the part about FBSM girls (never went down that path). I was once a very loyal customer, although I enjoyed the alcohol club alternatives too. Somewhere along the way MBOT lost me completely, notwithstanding what I regarded and continue to regard as the high quality of the dancers overall. I think it's great that they're trying to improve things, but it's unlikely that I'll return as a regular or even occasional customer, as my other interests and relationships have supplanted what MBOT used to provide. However, this doesn't mean that MBOT won't find a new generation of adherents if they can recreate the club they used to have; I hope they do. The city only benefits from more quality options for adult entertainment, especially independent ones.

   Good post. I've filled the void elsewhere as well. Even though I still go to MBOT every now and then I haven't gotten any extras for several years. The price reduction for lap dances is a good step for them, but unfortunately won't get me to change my current habits.

Is anyone else besides me surprised that management would be interested in advertising the price changes here in this forum.

It use to be management didn't care if Redbook members patronized the club or not because they had a steady stream of out of town tourists visiting the club.

I suspect the recent advertising here is due to the fact that the number of out of town tourists visiting the club has declined and business is down. I'm surprised that management would try advertising here to increase local traffic to make up for the decrease in out of town traffic. This would indicate to me that times are tough there for both the club and dancers. No customers, no money.

   What you are witnessing is a change in the management.
After the death of Jim 2 1/2 years ago the club has been managed by Jeff Armstrong. But in the last month Jim's kids Meta & Justin have come up, and are now managing day to day operations of the club.
The recent change in prices were their decision. So was communicating these changes to this forum.

   Whatever the reason, the changes are 100% positive... and we'd like more of them, to a greater extent. I'm pretty close to coming back to the club, and I'm not sure I ever thought I'd say that again. Keep the changes coming.

   This is moving in a positive direction. It would be a shame if this club became another casualty of the recession. I would suggest that the new management team head on to the Crazy Horse on a Friday or Saturday night and take a look how this small club in a bad section of Market is pulling in customers and how it's packed during prime hours of operation. Note the age of the customers too. You see young groups going in there all the time. Bringing in their girlfriends having bachelor parties, etc. Ok, they may not pay as much as a 40+ yo customer but these are paying customers nonetheless that are the future of your business. You priced these new strip club patrons right out of your club. You don't see large groups of 20 somethings coming into MBOT. You go to MBOT on a Friday or Saturday night and it's either out of towners or a bunch of 40 somethings reliving past glory. You need to re-energize this club back to what it was in the 70's, 80's and 90's. The rep that it has right now is an overpriced relic that has seen better days.


Of course there is a bald headed shill that will refute all negative comments but who the hell listens to him anyways..

   MBOT_Messenger, although I feel that the club is grossly overpriced, I don't not want to see it close its door. As far as I'm concerned it is a landmark. Do what you must to get business humming again. It may require that you experiment with different price points.

   The booth fee has been separate from what you pay the girls for many years, though of course less than $100 for 15 minutes.
