"Heart Shaped Dollar Bills"

   Hello fellow RB users,

Please check out my heart shaped dollar bills on ebay. They make great tips at strip clubs.

Why stop at $20? Why not $100? I think I'll pass given that you tried to pass off a broken pair of sunglasses as new.

I had sold a pair of sunglasses to a lady, they were not broken and clearly listed as used on ebay. She sent me back broken glasses, and I still refunded her money.

Personally, i think it's pretty awesome that some guy
who likes to do origami like this would think to market
it to strip club patrons. And then seek out the forum to
do it in.

I don't know what's stupider: A guy who thinks he can sell $20 of $1 bills for more than they're worth because they happen to be folded up in some cutesy heart shape or the dumb ass who ends up buying them.

Straight cash homey.

A dancer isn't going to be impressed by your ability to fold $1 bills into stupid little shapes. She's going to be impressed that you can dump a lot of $1 bills for her attention. Duh.

And besides, I can do this shit myself.

Straight cash homey.

13. "Not a dumb idea - more of a nice gesture"
In response to message #5

Years ago, Suzi Suzuki headlined at the MSC, and she passed out some little origami animals as "party favors" or whatever. A house dancer whose company I enjoyed mentioned that she thought they were really cute, so I learned how to do a few basic dollar-bill folds, and the next time I saw her on stage, I tipped her exclusively with little hearts and a few other simple critters I had learned to make.

She really liked it, and I think it bought me more "mileage" than just handing her a few extra 20's would have done. Beyond that, it was meant and interpreted as a nice gesture towards someone I liked.

I know that a lot of folks here are all business, Ladies and Gents alike, but I always found that having a friendly relationship with the Ladies, including the occasional thoughtful gesture, greatly increases my enjoyment of the time I spent with them.

To each his own, though. There are lots of things people sell by the millions that I would bother to bend over and pick up if I found them on the street. And I did think it more thoughtful to actually make the dollar-bill hearts than to buy them, but I don't grow the roses I give, or sew the lingerie, or make the chocolates.

Sweet! I just made one. I can't believe faridj007 tried to short change us here. His heart shaped bills do not include a quarter in the center. How are my bills going to reach the stage if I tried to throw them from the back row?

Now that I've acquired a new skill, I might try to sell my lot of twenty $1 bills on eBay for $29.95.

if you're gonna do this trick at least save it for a 50 or 100 to make it memorable, folding 1's might seem cheesy

IMNSHO someone who tips with heart shaped bills might as well have "P-Whipped" tattooed across his forehead.
