Topics are displayed in the forum listing normally on descending LAST UPDATE date order.

There is a another sort order, TOPIC ID. If this is selected, topics will not be sorted by last update. This may lead you to believe that the forum is not being updated.

To reset the sort order, go to any forum, example:
http://forum.myredbook.com/cgi-bin/dcforum2/dcboard.pl?az=list&forum=DCForumID5&conf=DCConfID1

then click the LAST UPDATE link in the dark blue column headings.
