"Vietnamese coffee shop in SF?"

This is probably a pipe dream, but you are the right people to ask, so, can anyone recommend a vietnamese coffee shop in SF that is similar or comparable to those in and around Tully in San Jose?

In the "little saigon" area near Larkin/Ellis, perhaps.

If not, any thoughts on why no such place in SF? I think the business would be very successful.

TIA.

NFW, AFAIK, they don't exist in SF.

Much stricter code enforcement in SF. VN do not have the clout in SF that they do in SJ. SJ has a much larger VN community so some things are "tolerated".

Huh? Is there more going on at my local San Jose coffee shops than meets the eye?

   "Illegal cigarette smoking."

Ah, OK , that makes sense.

And I guess that's one good reason for me to stick to the coffee shops I know. I'll wait for my eye candy.

Stricter code!

There is a Hooter in SF, and I don't see any reason why we can't have Vcoffee shop in SF. If there is one set up in SF, maybe it will beat out Starbucks, Peet, etc.

Would you settle for a nice cup of hot tea at Blue Sky or Nikki's?

Vietnamese Coffee is mighty tasty, that's why it's so addicting. I prefer it over Starbucks or any other coffee. And the girls are also an added bonus. What's not to like about hot girls in skimpy clothing?

For the non-coffee drinkers but the admirers of hot v-girls in skimpy clothing , anything else to drink at these places (of the non-alcoholic variety, of course)?

If anyone wants to discuss Vietnamese coffee, I just started a thread over here:

Well, we all have our dreams. But no, I know better. I just enjoy relaxing in low-key places with strong coffee, smoothies, beautiful waitresses, an outdoor place to smoke, sports on TV, video games, etc.

Just wish I could find one closer to where I work in SF.

Thanks for your thoughts. I apologize if this is too far afield for the AAMP forum.

I don't know if this will make it more relevant to the AAMP forum, but Vietnamese coffee shops are a good place to go before or after an AAMP.

Is anyone willing to share their 1024 bit encrypted exchange key so I can decrypt this thread and read all the hot info about AAMPS and Massage Parlors? Otherwise, I'll just settle for some tea... Earl Grey, hot.

TIA

OK, looking through old posts here, I found this thread:

http://forum.myredbook.com/dcforum2/orange/887.html

So it looks like there are some Vietnamese coffee shops which are like Hooters, the waitresses are dressed to kill.

Doesn't mean they're serving anything else on the side, though.

The established V shops wouldn't allow it here. SJ V community is more progressive ... I would like a cup of nastily served V coffee myself. I like Vgals simply b/c they're nastier. Liz have been my tea server for years.

Parking is horrible in SF compare to SJ, it might cost more than the coffee.

A story aired on the local LA TV news.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOePtke4MrY

Since these shops cater to the local VN community and are staffed locally, they are unlikely to expand to places like SF or LA.
