"First venture into the Sunset"

On a Sunday afternoon, I drove into the outer sunset to try and homestyle AMP (or is that HAMP?) for the first time. I had a good experience, but found it kinda weird to be in a regular neighborhood to do this business. As I looked around at all those homes with families and cars in the driveway and kids at the nearby park, it just seemed off. I guess I think, for me, it's more comfortable to go to AMPS in a downtown district.

I also like the AAMPS situated in apartment complexes near freeway off-ramps. That seems natural as well. But the Sunset? Or Richmond or any other really homey area?

How do you guys feel about going into homey neighborhoods?

Whenever I drive and start to sense that families and kids live in these homes, I get a woody. I mean how awesome would it be to blow your load and then go to a neighbor's home and sit down with a nice family for a family dinner?

Sunset is an ironically-named neighborhood in any event. Its people just wander around the streets in a fog

I don't think there's a difference. What if you visit your GF who may live in the Sunset, blow your load and the neighbor kids hear you cause their wall is next to her wall? Then they tease you when they see you outside. Sounds like a typical day in the Sunset area to me.

You can also visit some TAMPs to get a real massage, then stop by a pot house to get some good dope. Oh, you can visit some gambling den too, what a family neighborhood.

I like the easy access to public transit. Don't give a crap about the "family" neighborhood. That's San Francisco, an urban environment. Plenty of apartments around the AMP's in the mission(upstairs from PalmTree, anyone?) and TL. Same thing out there in Sunset.

Since my car went in the shop, I haven't been able to hit any of the AAMP's down the peninsula. There hasn't been a lot of good action in sunset before, but new org http://classifieds.myredbook.com/classified.php?adid=147308 delivered the goods for me last week. Just posted a review of Amy, but it hasn't been uploaded yet. I had a "best in price class" experience with her. Busty, wide hipped spinner.

I think that AAMPs in the big complexes lend a certain anonymity which a regular neighborhood doesn't, so I think I get where you are coming from but it really doesn't bother me. As long as I'm respectful while there why should it bother me?

As someone else said, in the urban environment there are people living all over. I think most if not all of the AMPs downtown are below apts.

Don't stress it. Just be polite and respectful, like I'm sure you would be anyways, and enjoy yourself!

Biggest pita I would imagine is PARKING. Parking in the Sunset district can be downright horrible.

Ive had friends who lived there and tell stories of driving around for an hour at 1am in the morning looking for a parking space that was at least within 3 blocks of his house.

Ive been to single family homes, apartment complexs, to private businesses in a industrial area. its all about what you are comfortable with.

I think it was the house. That familiar sunset house. I know people who live out there. Don't feel like running into an acquaintance and have to tell a lie: Uh, going to a guitar lesson without a guitar... Just seemed cheesy. I like doing it in buildings of some sort, a more commercial setting. It is a business deal after all, right?
