I can't even place that location in my head. I can't remember what used to be there. Were there previous amps there or nearby?

Be the change

I used to live in that area. There's nothing really of note that I can remember on that part of 10th. The now defunct Bay Spa and Sunny Relax were all within walking distance of there.

I am really tempted to TOFFT this week. God knows Oakland downtown needs a re-birth and infusion of new talent. Mostly greedy beotches at NWS and Millennium, and crusty, mostly old pros at OT- of course, there are 2-3 exceptions but that's about it. A very worrying trend I noticed is that some RA's are now expecting a .8 tip for very "basic services"....WTF! The other places offer a rub only. I am about to give up on Oakland and just drive over to the city.

Not easy to park, find and once inside the building it is like a maze! The elevator is also scary, dont know if it will make it or not. Once there they only seem to have one girl. I had appointment but when I arrived she said she was busy, come back 45 min. WTF I had time so I ate and came back 40 min later. Then I was told oh no, just started massage, you come back one hour.

Of course my response was @?!**&$^^!!!!!!!!!!

Another change in Oakland:

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/ads/1648489763.html

used to be:
http://www.myredbook.com/showpro.aspx?org=1321354

Change of management = change in offered services...?

I doubt it, but might be worth checking out before I give up on seeing improvements in this area.

That sunshine place seems interesting....right next to Oriental Wellness (which is completely legit in my experience).

This new "Sunshine" used to be "Advanced Healing Center' and, just as its neighbor "Oriental Wellness", all legit.
The change of name indicates a change of management and thus, maybe, just maybe, a change to better business practices....but I may just getting my hopes up for nothing. It may be just a PR trick to lure us suckers in.

TOFTT, went to this "Sunshine" and it was neither sunny nor shiny. Plain looking MILF gave a lackluster, legit massage. The experience was so forgettable that I even don't remember her name.

Yeah, I tried that place too. Linda was not bad looking milf, but didn't speak much Engrish and gave a lousy legit massage. She spent about 20 minutes going over the same area of my back, over and over and over, til I had to tell her to move on. When I asked to flip (because she wasn't getting to it) she said, "No time left". When she asked for tip I said "No money left".

This place has little to offer anyone.

Yep, Linda was her name now that you mention it. Is in the wrong profession IMO. Probably a single mom trying to make some $ and waiting for a sucker to scoop her up and marry her. Well, good luck to her with that...

Revival? Of what? Oakland has never been a great scene for us mongers. Bad customer treatment. Old RAs. Bad locations. Only talents I found in Oaktown were working in the pho kitchens.
