"Neck and shoulder massage at the mall"

We all have seen those standing masseuses/salesmen&women at the mall walkways.
On average, is it better that I stick to going into a storefront and getting a full CMT massage for an hour?
Can some of you guys chime in and discuss the math and tell me your POV's on this?

Thanks much in advance.

It's difficult to get a happy ending in the middle of the mall. Not impossible, mind you, but difficult. Full service is probably out of the question.

Kidding aside, I was at a conference a couple of years ago where the host company had hired a couple of CMTs for anyone who was interested. A chair massage is not great if you have a bad back because a substantial part of your body weight is on your lower back. I'll take a full table massage over that any day.

I wouldn't get a chair massage at a mall. I have taken them at airports away from home because flying really wrecks my back and shoulders. But I only do that when I won't have a regular table CMT easily available for a while.

Who misses "Magic Fingers" on motel beds? I believe a quarter was all that was required...

I used to regularly get the mall chair massages. For the money (at the time) it would be a far better value than a massage at an overpriced spa. Then the poliferation of the foot massage places came and they've changed the game. I'll get a foot/back massage every other week and get a much better massage in a much more comfortable setting. Oh yea, this is legit massage. I get my needs met at my favorite aamp du jour.

Now if only something changed the economics of the aamp world???

Two roads diverged and I chose the road down south

I got a chair massage in SOHO in NYC... I was so sore from hoofing it all day it felt great! I was just paranoid I would get robbed with my head burried in the face rest... Felt like a rubber man after. It was awesome!
