"my backstory and current search for hidden gems in sf chinatown"

LAST EDITED ON 12-Jul-10 AT 02:09 PM (PST)

Five to seven years ago I discovered Bay Spa in Oakland's Chinatown (thanks to this board) and became a regular there. I liked the privacy of the rooms, the sauna, and the therapeutic massage was usually pretty decent. I never asked for girls by name because I liked to be surprised when they walked in the room. Only once was I offered a girl that was just a little fugly; most of the time I was happy, sometimes thrilled, with the girl I got. The massage was $50 and the HJ $40. Sometimes a girl would ask for $60 but I'd just say I always pay $40 and there was no hassle.

I took a break from that for a while and ventured across the bridge to Palm Tree where (again thanks to this board) I would leave $100 on the table before the girl came in and get what I came for with no hassle. Then the big busts went down and I took a break from amping.

I went back to Bay Spa and tried a few other oakland tamps, but all of a sudden the girls were demanding 60, sometimes more, and when I could talk them down to 40 the intensity of the negotiations took the fun out of it for me. So I went back to Palm Tree and tried some other sf amps only to encounter a similar phenomena -- $100 would not cut it anymore (and this despite the fact that the line ups were less impressive). I eventually settled on a tamp in El Cerrito where I could get a truly excellent, somewhat sensual, but strictly legit therapeutic massage at $45 per hour.

Now I'm in SF and my income is not what it used to be. I'm between girlfriends and have been thinking lately it might be fun to explore the tamp scene in Chinatown. I figure there must be some people here who can help me find what I'm looking for.

The criteria:

1) A tamp not an amp.

2) Located in SF Chinatown.

3) A place where I can get a decent massage for $30-$45 per hour with a hj at $40 or less or a bbbj at $60 or less.

4) With no haggling at the moment of truth (this is key).

5) A place where the quality of service (and maybe the menu) might continually improve once I became a trusted regular.

I realize this would have to be an AO place that would let in the occasional caucasian and that I could not expect eye candy (milf and plain would be fine as long as she's not too terribly fugly). I'm willing to do some foot exploration on my own and have searched the archives for possibilities (maysun sounds half-way promising), but if anyone here can save me time and trouble I'd definitely appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

As you pursue additional efforts, kindly continue to exercise discretion. Remember that storefront TAMPs that provide a happy ending are subject to the same scrutiny as storefront AMPs. Indiscreet chatter may cause an RA to be fired or a TAMP to pop up on LE radar. Feel free to announce that you found a good deal somewhere, but save the juicy details for the review section or inbox messages. Thanks.

Hey AMPfan, I'm new to posting here and appreciate your call to discretion. Have I given too much information already on Bay Spa and Palm Tree? If so I wouldn't mind at all if the moderator chooses to delete or edit my post. Be assured that I will not disclose inappropriate information on this board. In fact, if anyone has information or leads relevant to my quest please inbox me instead of making it public here. I do understand the implications of indiscreet chatter and will be vigilant about protecting the innocent.

You're doing okay so far, and I'm not really the post sheriff. The general idea is not to leave a trail of bread crumbs for LE to follow back to a particular AMP or RA.

Do you really think LE so stupid that they don't know which places are selling sex.

No, boobird (and everyone else who has raised this point before), the issue is more complicated than just the collective intelligence of LE. Factors include:

* Making it just a little harder for LE to find documentation here, on the assumption that their available resources are limited.

* Keeping ourselves from getting blacklisted or incurring the wrath of favorite providers or orgs if they make the connection between an actual visit and a trip report.

* Not waving red flags for LE when a new superstar with a generous menu appears on the storefront scene.

* Anecdotal evidence from years past, supporting the theory that LE activity rises and falls in direct correlation with the amount of indiscreet discussion here. CEO was a pretty good example of that a few years ago, but the link goes all the way back to International Variety in the Nineties, a place whose demise was directly attributable to forum discussions on this site.

* The general principle of DSIYK. (Don't shit in your kitchen)

Good points, AMPFan. And I think these principles are extra important to adhere to in this particular search, which involves tucked away Chinatown tamps that may or may not be connected to beauty salons or foot reflexology joints, are mostly AO, don't advertise on CL or anywhere else, and offer extras cautiously.

Get to know a long AMP or AAMP woman long enough and you'll hear they had have at least one customer admit (or claim....) that they are cops.
The key thing is that they don't play in their back yards. (San Jose cops go to SF and vice versa..)

The people that tend to be a bigger problem are the ones who think sex for money is a sin, either for religious or radical feminist reasons. They complain to the cops, mayor, and supervisors and then there is a "clean up" or crack down. The end result being women work out of apartments instead of storefronts with the former being more prone to robberies.

You are kind of like Chris Tucker, in Rush Hour 2.
