"Guide to AAMPing for newbies (or new to AAMPs)"
Here is my guide to AAMPing. Tried to have it posted in Clueless forum but mods so far have ignored or rejected my post. Maybe because it covers multiple subjects? Also, since everyone here is probably a seasoned hobbyist, this Guide isn't specifically directed for you but to refer newbies to the info.

GUIDE TO VISITING AN AAMP (Apartment Asian Massage Parlor)
====================================================================Start by visiting these two places:
Clueless forum: http://forum.myredbook.com/cgi-bin/dcforum2/dcboard.pl?az=list&forum=DCForumID15&conf=DCConfID1
Terms and Acronyms: http://forum.myredbook.com/dcforum2/DCForumID15/2.html
====================================================================
This applies to AAMPs in SF Bay Area and LA (and maybe AAMPs/NAAMPs in other places)
AAMPs are usually situated in nice upscale apartment complexes, although you occasionally find an independent operating out of an upscale hotel (they are usually just visiting the area for a short while so doesn’t make sense to setup in apt). Donation is usually cited in the ad and is for full service (massage may be optional) although exact menu varies. Additional tipping is not required but is appreciated if offered. Most AAMPs employ a 3-call system to make appt/confirm appt/get apt location.
WHO TO CALL:
For SF Bay Area, look in SF Bay Area Personals: South Bay Asian Massage: http://forum.myredbook.com/cgi-bin/dcforum2/dcboard.pl?az=list&forum=DCForumID201&conf=DCConfID3
Or classifieds: http://classifieds.myredbook.com/classified.php?catid=14&subcatid=13
Look through the ads and make a list of the ones that interest you. Most top tier providers in SF Bay Area ask for $200h/$160hh. Then there are others asking for $160h/$140hh or $120hh (most use fake pics and be wary of B&S/MILFs in this price range). Pics in ad are meant to entice you but be wary of fake (borrowed) pics. Usage of fake pics is more of a problem in the $160/hr and lower orgs but you will find some in the $200/hr price range also. Often, the girl (RA) does not want her real pics taken for fear family/friends might recognize her. So org has to use a fake pic. Sometimes, they try to find a pic that resembles her (although this may or may not be stated in the ad). Some orgs practice B&S (Have pic of JAV model when actual RA is 35 (MILF) and curvy (not slim)). Most pics crop or blur the face to protect the RA’s identity. Photoshopping is a problem when done to excess. All areas of body fair game for photoshopping but primary areas are boobs, waist and legs. Tats are sometimes removed also (identity concern). If pic photoshopped so much that pic no longer resembles actual RA, might as well be a fake pic. See reviews/minis for description of girl and whether she resembles the girl in the pics.
To avoid disappointment, do your homework. Look for reviews and/or minis on the RA you are interested in. If you can’t find any, you could post a 411 to ask if anyone has seen her. To get the quickest response, a 411 should include all pertinent info so people will know who you are talking about. Title of 411 should be “411 name-of-RA @ phone-number”. State what info you would like and “QUOTE” the CLASSIFIED ad (do not quote the personals ad). Quoting preserves the ad copy and a link to pics. Important because ads often are changed or disappear. If you cannot find reviews/minis, you may TOFTT (Take One For The Team) and write your own review.
I look for the following review info:
1) Real pics? Is she the girl in the pics or does she resemble the girl in the pics?
2) If she doesn’t resemble her pics, what does she look like?
3) Ratings are very subjective because everyone has different tastes and priorities. One man’s 9 is another man’s 7. So I don’t pay attention to ratings that much. Only a problem if she earns rating of 6 or lower from several reviewers.
4) Is her look DDG/GND/College Coed/OK/Fugly
5) Pretty face?
6) Body type: slim, OK, Thick, Curvy, BBW
7) Hair: straight, curly, other
8) Boobs: size, natural/enhanced
9) Age, height and weight estimate
10) What is her service like? Menu? BBBJ, DFK, MSOG offered?
11) Knows what she is doing or just going through the motions
12) Can speak/understand English?
13) Was PO helpful? Pleasant, good directions?
14) Location easy to find? (Only use general area info: Near SFO, Peninsula, SJ/SC area, East Bay)
MAKING THE CALL:
You may want to get a hobby only phone so you can keep personal stuff separate. Needed in case you have an SO you need to hide activities from or concerned about LE getting too much easy info on you. Don’t forget to regularly purge call history and other non-essential info.
Once you have decided on who to call, you now have to make the call. Most AAMPs in SF Bay Area do NOT screen or ask for references. There is a blacklist for people who no show/no call, people who act like jerks or do not pay. Some LA AAMPs do “light” (No references needed or No phone number for references needed) screening or do not screen at all. Others do require screening with references which must be verified.
Make the phone call. If no answer, keep trying. Sometimes they start late, are on vacation or are completely booked (It’s kind of annoying when they don’t answer when completely booked because you don’t know that and keep trying). Call early to get the best appt times. Some popular RAs book really fast, so you have to be patient and persistent. For AAMPs, PO book appointments back-to-back. Popular RAs may see 8-12 clients per day. Sometimes they have a little “cushion” time between sessions. Once you get the PO on the phone, tell PO: WHO YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE AND WHAT TIME. That is all you need to say. The PO may take calls for several RAs so they need to know who you want to see. If screening is required, PO will ask screening questions. If you pass screening, you may proceed to the next step. He/she (PO) will say if RA is available at the desired time or give you alternate availability. If time is OK with you, PO will tell you when to make confirmation call. I like to ask which area RA is in if PO does not volunteer location info. Sometimes they give only general area or nearby area (place to go to and then get further instructions) or they may give specific address. I like to make a map (I use Microsoft Streets & Trips to make a very detailed map) before I hit the road or you could use GPS (If you have it).
Make the confirmation call at the specified time. DO NOT BE LATE. If you are late with the confirmation call or forget to call, you may lose your appointment. PO may give you driving directions at this time if not already given and then have you call when get there.
PS. When talking to the PO, be polite and speak clearly (no slang, code, etc). And DO NOT talk about services (they won’t answer in order to not incriminate themselves). Getting mad or being rude to the PO will not do you any good and may result in a cancelled appointment.
YOUR AAMP SESSION:
1) Show up on time. Call if you are going to be late for any reason. Your session may be shortened but you shouldn't lose your appt (will still have to pay for the hour). Sometimes you will still get the full hour (if she doesn't have another appt waiting).
2) Sometimes the RA is not ready and the PO will say call back or they will call back when she is ready. If more than 5 minutes past quoted call back time, call again (they sometimes forget).
3) Follow all instructions. You may have to ask PO to repeat if he/she has an accent that makes it difficult to understand what they said. You will be given the gate/door code and the apartment number.
4) Have the donation ready before you leave the car.
5) Take your cell phone with you. You may need it if the PO needs to contact you, you get lost, forget gate code or apt#, etc. Some guys leave their phone and wallet (and only carry into session donation and keys) in the car in case they get busted by LE. But I think that is being overly paranoid. Chances of being involved in a bust is slim (although it does happen).
6) I always give the RA the donation at the beginning of the session (so I don't forget and RA doesn't have to worry about getting paid). Some prefer or insist on paying at the end because they are afraid of ROB situation or want to give RA incentive to perform as advertised. Other than the ROB situation, that is silly because you have to pay her the full donation whether you were satisfied or not. That is why it is so important to do your homework before scheduling so you avoid iffy providers.
7) ALWAYS accept the shower at the beginning of the session. Even if you took a shower 15 minutes ago. You could get sweaty during the walk from your car to the apt on a warm day. Regardless of how recently you bathed, accept the shower so the RA knows you are squeaky clean. You will have more fun. Think about it from her point of view, would you want to suck someone with sweaty balls? Yuck! They sometimes do coed showers. More fun for you.
8) Recommend letting them do their script. Especially on the first visit. It works for them and you may like what they do. If you want to take charge, go ahead but you may miss out on some special thing they like to do. To me, directing the action seems "forced" but some prefer it. I like to let the RA do what she wants and it usually works for me.
9) Always respect the RAs boundaries. If you are "big", be gentle and find a position that is comfortable for both of you. Some don't like DFK, FIV or DATY. And just because you saw it in a review doesn’t automatically mean that you will get something (like DFK, BBBJ, etc). It may have been a fake review or the reviewer got something special only for him. Almost all don't do Greek or BBFS. It's always best to ask before trying to do something out of the ordinary (like FIV). If the RA says you are hurting her, stop and try it another way. You are paying her to provide a service but that does NOT give you the right to do whatever you want. Each session is YMMV. That’s just the way it is.
10) If you want MSOG, you should check the ad and reviews to see if she offers it. You can always ask at the beginning of the session. Unless the ad says MSOG (2X) is OK, most of the time it is one pop only. Even if the ad says it's OK, you should ask her and say you want to try. If you don't, she may pace the session for one pop and then you won't have enough time. Some guys (especially young guys) pop early. The RA may offer another pop if there is enough time but don’t complain if she doesn’t. The reviews should have told you that she doesn’t offer MSOG and you should have known that when you scheduled the appointment.
11) The hour includes time for undressing/dressing, 2 showers and fun time. If you are having difficulties finishing, you may have to switch to HJ to finish on time. It's that or risk being told "sorry, no more time". She’ll do her best to give you a happy ending but ultimately, it’s up to you to “get to the finish” IN THE ALLOTTED TIME. At the end of the hour, she has to get ready for the next client. And don’t forget, she is being paid for her time. If you cannot finish for whatever reason, you still have to pay her.
IN SUMMARY:
Don't forget what kind of business this is. The RA provides the service but they are in control. There are no guarantees or business rules such as “The customer is always right”. They get paid regardless. It’s buyer beware. You can't complain to the BBB or the police. We vote with our dollars. The orgs/RAs who provide the best service gets the most clients and dollars. They make the money they do because they are entertainers, their product is their bodies, they have a relatively short peak earning period, and the business is risky (LE, robbery, STD, AIDs). Look at it from their POV. If you were a HOT, slim, young provider, known for outstanding service and in demand, how much would you charge to “get it on” with a balding, overweight, middle age man?
Just go for it and have fun. Always do your research, be on time, have patience and be respectful.
PS. This guide does NOT apply to escorts. Escorts generally are more expensive and screen (although I think screening is a waste of time for all parties concerned because the guy may be a jerk to everyone except the provider he is using as a reference). When calling an escort, be prepared to provide one or more references with phone numbers. She will call your references to check to see if you are an OK guy. Escorts generally see fewer clients per day (than an AAMP provider) and often cater to more affluent clientele who require more discretion. Whether you think an escort is worth the extra cost and effort is up to you to decide.
