The truth with these girls is the same as anywhere else, there are con artists and their are legit sad tales. If it feels like there are too many to be true coming from this particular sub culture, well, since everyone loves to whine about the economy (hasn't bothered me, until I turn on the 11:00 news or log on to this board, otherwise I'm good), the economy in most of Asia has been horrible beyond anything we will ever experience, for a very long time. So yes, they have a higher percentage of tales of woe. Most are true, some are exaggerated, some are false. It's up to your to decipher.

If you enjoy these girls company, then you probably care. Some guys feel very bad and want to help out. Some guys are strangely amused by the stories. Others get all upset and continue their childlike tirade, that they exhibit day in and day out through their pitiful little lives.....I'm sure half a dozen are going to stop clutching their hard to come by nickle and start to respond about how the girls are liars, and should lower their rates because their job shoveling dog crap out of peoples yards doesn't coexist well with the current market rate for hot girls they could never get for free, or cheap, who also need to make money pretty desparately, and are willing to work hard for theirs.

The economy in Asia has been horrible beyond anything we will ever experience? Oh puhleeze, hugebob, have you taken a good look at China lately? That economy has "slowed" because it was roaring on all cylinders for way too long, about 20 years. China is part of Asia, you knew that, right? Then look at Vietnam, who was pretty much the 2nd fastest growing economy from 2000-2010, and which was unaffected by the global economic meltdown of the last 3 years and counting. Let's not get sidetracked and distort reality and facts. The "tales of woe" as you term it, is really "the nature of the business". Meaning, these girls don't fuck you because they like you, they do it for MONEY. So, the "tales of woe" (again, your term hugebob8) is mainly just another method/trick to extract mo' money, mo' money, mo' money when they got you thinking with the little head. It's akin to bartenders working you with conversation as you drink yourself into a stupor and they get you to overpay for the same drink or to tip double or more. No different. They are out for your MONEY, not your friendship, or romance. If they sense you are lonely, most will not hesitate to work you over. We are supposed to be going to see these providers to de-stress and rock some worlds, including our own, not to try and fall in love like so many on this board try and do. Well, your not forced into having an attitude with the girls nice enough to at least let you pay them for it, but I guess if I were you, I'd have a chip on my shoulder to.

Bottom line - If I risk potential jail time doing an illegal activity, I deserve to go to jail if I get caught. If I do not & I pull it off, I deserve whatever expensive items I desire, without anybody talking shit or trying to make me seem lesser. That's just a fact. Same goes for these girls.

If there fellow natives over here bust their ass 20 hours a day and are successful, they are top of the food chain, both morally & materialistically. If they bust their ass 20 hours a day and can barely make ends meet the honest way, I dont see why that puts additional heat on a successful aamp girl. the person doing it the honest way either has moral roadblocks, fears of prison time or is grossed out by "any & all" paying customers. all understandable, but no need to begrudge someone who can look past all of that & take a risk.

Whoever coined the phrase CRIME DOESNT PAY was a blithering idiot. Clearly. Whoever cointed the phrase EASY MONEY was no better. There is nothing easy about criminalism, it's not an easy way out, it's a different way, with it's own risks & rewards, upside & downsides. If criminal activities were easy money than they would not be shortcuts to an end, they would just be THE WAY.

That's true, but many of them lack the street smarts (or the common sense) to manage their money well. They end up spending away all that money with nothing to show for it after their working years. For this reason, I feel sorry for them.

The last time I was in Thailand, I met a sweetheart but when I saw the way she was spending her money, I felt very sad for her. I tried to educate her about the need to put some money away, but after a while, I just gave up.

I fully realize now that no amount of money beats a good education. Money can always be wasted away, but not a good education.
