I first went there in the fall of 1990, and by the end of the 90s, it was a great place, with legends like Mimi, Tina, Michelle, Miki, Tammy and others. I had the most memorable sessions there, especially doubles with Tina and Mimi or even better, Tina and Michelle. What was so great was how accommodating they were and they genuinely made you feel good.

But after Mimi died, that place didn’t seem quite the same and the remaining girls got bitter and jaded. The fighting between the girls got ugly. Service started to diminish and prices started jacking upwards.

Now, they want $200 or more and complain endlessly. Their bitterness with each other has now spread to their customers and they’ve taken a hard stance as well.

Well, apparently Tina has joined Michelle in dumping her old, loyal customers and will soon be known as “Kim” and will demand $200 or more. The reason? The old customers would only pay $160 or $180.

Oh, and let me add that they have a new girl. She’s young, but not attractive and wears jeans. And according to the girls, she’s not very experienced. But here’s the kicker: the new girl wants $300, but will take $260. I asked if she got that much and the reply was "Yes". Good fucking Lord, what are you guys doing paying that much to this girl??

Nikki's has now replaced the demised Sophia's as the ROB Den of Whores and I'm finished with the girls and the place. I've noticed for the past year there's not many customers now, but I guess they make it up in higher prices.

With all the AAMPs around more opening all the time and not only the Koreans, but the Chinese giving great service for as low as $120, why would I even consider going back to Nikki's? I saw Ace in Emeryville and Kissy in San Mateo recently for $160 for a half hour. And there are a number of C girls at $120 that are great, like Daisy or Coco in the East Bay. And when Vivi was here, oh, my God!! Heaven for a buck twenty!

It’s sad to see Nikki’s sink to the Old Hag places of the old Madam Butterfly's on Mason (later Dragon) or even Blue Sky, Susan's or Su Su of today. Dark, quiet places where time has come to a halt. The place was once hoping at night, now the girls sit around waiting for the PLs who long for the good ol’ days and willing to pay dearly for it.

One would think that these broads would at least figure out that they have tons of competition. Their brains are so small, they figure they're the only ones that can provide the services that they all supposedly provide. Even though LE is still hot on the sunset district, there are way more places for hobbiers to get some in the city.
What they don't realize is that the veteran hobbiers go much more often than the casual whore monger. This is what Nikki girls fail to recognize. Guys that pay the 160-180, hobby more often. This is actually the bread and butter of their business!
They're pretty stoopid to wait around for that tourist and/or newb, to walk thru that door and plop down $200+

The home grown brothel/massage places are more prolific now, more than ever. These underground places don't advertise in the usual venues. Its word of mouth and media in a foreighn language or two. Very cheap places and all at 120-140. SF still has them and so does Oakland and all of the surrounding areas.
As others say: Upgrade to a really good session for 200 in the southbay and its like luxury down there versus the urine strewn city of SF!

Now you mentioned that Tina/Kim is joining their cause. Well, that's just fitting because Tina's services have degraded ever since she set up her own shop. She's still good to fair, but she's far from the best she once was. That's fine. Nothing lasts forever. Thing is, I guess some guys are paying these prices and somehow keeping them in business. No idea why. But it does go to show you that rewarding bad service with high compensation and tips just makes things worse...but try telling that to some guys.

That said, almost went recently (arrived for my scheduled time to be told to come back in 30 minutes - NOT). Prior to that, in the last 3 years since I "quit" I have probably been twice. Why? Because CBJ doesn't cut it for me, and it's damn hard to find that service in an AMP, and I go to AMPs last minute for convenience. So, while my to-do list is full of escorts these days, it's not inconceivable that I might find myself walking up those stairs some time in the future. So yeah, tourists and idiots like me keep this place in business. In fairness to the ladies, I don't think it's ever been about customer service or competition but simple economic necessity. If they were able to approach it like a normal business where the basic concepts of good service,fair prices and value applied they all would of retired with sizable fortunes years ago.

Over the years I have come to know Tina and a few other ladies fairly well and they all share a common characteristic, that is the emotional toll the business takes. Those of you who have known Tina over the years can certainly attest to this.

I have been mongering for years and I am probably as addicted to it as anyone. While I have always considered it a victimless crime between consenting adults, its time to reconsider.

Unrealistically, we expect providers to be immediately sensitive to competition and changes in the economic climate, all while giving excellent RBGFE service to ten customers a day. While being a provider is a choice, I have no doubt that these ladies all had very different aspirations for their lives.

For more years than I care to count, the ladies of Nikki's were some of the best the Bay Area had to offer. It shouldn't surprise any of us if they have nothing left to give.

Since these gals are realistic, in both the bareback services required to remain marketable - as well as the very real possibility of ending up like Mimi - they're simply doing what you or I would do in the same situation. Michelle and Tina are thinking that if they're going to eventually die for these cheap assholes (ie, you and me), they're gonna have to pay a bit more than a buck sixty. The thinking is that the volume of men will finally slow down - balanced by the increased fees - so they don't feel so used up at the end of the day.

That's how we should imagine Mimi to have transcended after she died for us, those she comforted with her smile, her sex, her very life. Let us allow the Nikki era to pass with a fond smile in remembrance, not bitching about a price hike.

It's difficult to agree or disagree with the rest of your thread because I honestly don't know if the prices you quote include house fees. At the minimum, it seems somewhat apples-and-oranges to hold up 30- and 60-minute sessions side by side.

Despite having seen a lot of the same ladies, you and I have always had different priorities when it comes to age, looks, service and price point. That's probably why our respective do-not-repeat lists and to-do lists probably look quite different these days. I think your priorities are more in the mainstream. Still, the so-called "hag" houses have always gotten plenty of business even in a weak economy, and I doubt that will change any time soon.

I sessioned with Tina once, too passive and way too accomodating, it was kind of scary. But I guess there's a market for that, WTF do I know?
