perhaps their LE customers have pointed out that LE either doesn't have the budget or the interest in working weekends? I've assumed that the cops take a day to plan, a day to do the actual bust and then possibly another day to write reports/file paperwork.

Using my lazy popo/no overtime budget theory that would leave Weds for planning, Thursday for the bust and Friday for a relaxing day at the office filing paperwork before enjoying the weekend (perhaps hobbying at their fav aamp that was "immune" from scrutiny?)

I'd be interested in hearing from veteran mongers about whether they've ever actually heard of a bust on days other than Thursday?

Often legitimate providers (massage, chiropractic, etc.) are only open Monday through Friday, and perhaps Saturday until noon. They place adds on Craigslist to rent out rooms to other providers on the weekends only, to gain some additional rental income, and not have the rooms sit empty all weekend. There are numerous listings on CL just like this. So, as their add states, they have rented a "a room which is very tidy, professional upscale, private and discreet." I would guess if you go back to the same place on Monday, there is a legitimate therapist working there.

   I suspect they are working out of the spa in Lafayette near the Safeway. That place is well known for having a stable of indies. It's like a hair salon where the girls rent the space. Because of that, the quality ranges widely, as does the menu of services. They probably have rules about what services the girls can offer, which they follow during business hours, but take liberties during off hours, when the place is officially not open.
