"How bad is your adiction to the hobby?"
 
I have been seeing 3-4 RA's a week for the last 2 months. Aside from the possibility of going broke, I can't seem to stop myself. Is there a rehab for this?

Glad you've been able to cut back. Some here will say you should try a few 100-120 dollar MILFs and that will make you stop.

Actually whenever I try a $120 or $140 MILF, I just run back to the $200 RBGFE RA's so that I can get that experience out of my mind.

Believe it or not, I am already on the manual release program daily in addition to the hobby, just so that I don't hobby anymore than what I am doing already.

   A rehab for me is taking a few moments to realize how much cash has flown out of my wallet and bank account which seems to help ease the urge of having to go visit RA often. I now limit to seeing my RA twice a month compared to once a week.

   I saw 4 RAs in one week and that was just too much for my wallet. I had a good clip going for a while maybe 2x a week.

I'm looking to cut back to 2 to 4 times a month though, running out of money.

Yes, I usually keep low profile and just read the posts from time to time, but never actually posting anything myself.

In addition, ever since I became a member, I've kept the hobbying to only once in awhile (usually once in 2-3 months, but sometimes once a month). But recently the urge has skyrocketed. Hence the more time spent also on the forum posting as well.

   It is only an addiction if you want to stop and can't or if you can't afford it and it is causing you problems in life because of it.
I spent $500 last week. That is the most I've ever spent in a week. Normally I average that much in a month.
I consider quitting alot since I am in a happy relationship with a S.O. I'm not sure I ever will though.

Wow, you are happy in a relationship and you still hobby? Ok, you definitely have me beat.

I think sometimes it's not the need for sex that made me go see an RA. It's the intimacy and closness to a woman that I miss. And if I can have that on a regular basis, then I think I can do without the hobby.

lack of DDG RAs help...hence the reason I have not seen an RA this month at all... I usually Hobby 5 times a week.

Also maybe you should limit yourself to RAs with look ratings of 8.5 or better (minus the shills) and that should help..

Ok, I have never hobbied 5 times a week. Though I did spend a whole week (7 days) with an escort once.

And I do agree that this week the pickings are soooooo very slim. So far I saw J and Tara, and both sessions were under expectation. I do miss my ATF's.

Here's an idea.

Look objectively at the girls and realize how bad the talent is. Be critical. Do you find that most of these women are old (35+), plastic, and overall not very attractive? That "aha" moment made me stop going to AAMPs and frequent CMTs (at half the price with higher probability to get a natural cute girl, relative to a $$ K-girl robot)

Also, I recently got a clean STD checkup and it would take a VERY hot K-robot to take a chance. She'd have to be verified as <25 and completely natural, minimum GND. Those criteria have allowed me to stay on the sidelines for quite a while.

There's plenty of labs out there that you can go to get a checkup. You probably should if you've been to Thailand.

No, not at all. It's because I have seen many different providers in many different places for the last several months. If I am only exclusively seeing SoBay K-Girls, I think I wouldn't need the checkup. But hey, I am just trying to be careful, and so should you!

Think of it this way

In the past 2 months you've spent about 200X3 sessions X 8 weeks =4200 to 200 x 4 sessions x 8 weeks = 6400 you could have saved.

Free clinics are a good place for STD checkups. There are a few in SF and a couple in Berkeley. If you're in the South Bay I can't help you.

Listen, it's easy to make the association of sex with intimacy as the two so often go hand in hand. I initially started going to AMPs out of curiosity and it quickly became habit forming. It's good that you are self-aware enough to realize that your compulsion has its roots in a need for intimacy/closeness. The next step is realizing that those particular needs can never be met at an AMP or AAMP. Once I realized where the compulsion was coming from and how ridiculous it was to look for intimacy/closeness with a prostitute who barely speaks English and fucks several clients in a day on average, AMPing lost its luster.

My advice to you is to channel your efforts into dating women. You'll have a better chance of getting your needs met for real that way and you'll save yourself a shitload of money. Plus, if you play your cards right the sex will be better too.

How can you hobby so often? For me to go 3-4 times a week I would need to drop one of the following:

-work
-meeting friends
-any form of exercise
-other leisure activity (watching a movie, going for a drink after work)

Really, I consider myself an addict and I can't go more than 2x a week. Even going once requires me creating a window of time where no friends are trying to call me and I have created an answer for the question of "what have you been up to this afternoon?"

Although, I agree with you about the MILF, I once saw someone nasty, it only made me go to Golden Dragon immediately afterwards and spend even more money...
