HOLY CALABASAS BATMAN!!! IS ANYBODY'S METRO PCS PHONE WORKING RIGHT NOW?
Both of mine have only been able to text for the last half hour!?

Checked with a relative and there's is doing the same.

Dialing only gets complete silence but it shows on screen as making the call...

Would really bite if someone from China put a bug in their system, or maybe it's an extreme solar flare...nah I'm just tired.

what's goin' one though?

WEIRD....

I knew it had nothing to do with payments since it was happening on both my phones.
I tried to call one from the other as I thought it was just bad, then figured it out and texted someone else to call me to see if it goes thru. And that person responded that theirs wouldn't work either.

wow, I guess it could be worse, it could be a Thursday or Friday. LOL

Tried googling and couldn't find anything--everybody must be in bed--
goodnight ladies!
Let's hope this is fixed by morning--hey at least no prank calls in the wee hours of the morning when we don't turn the phone off!

It can't be THAT, cuz one phone is in my real name and the other is in a totally made up one.
They can't just get everyone's phone service shut off to deal with 'working girls' or guys for that matter.

I'm sure it is just a terrible glitch in their system or something has affected their tower reception or well, we'll find out in the morning and some of the techies here can expound on the diagnosis.

   its the mercury retrograde, supposed to start on the 20th its early. dont be surprised if your ATM card wont work or you go to a business that tells you for some reason their credit car system is down during this period

That is SO funny! I haven't tracked Mercury this year but it was the first thing that popped into my mind! When the travel and communication planet goes into reverse, it just means that we have to be more patient and take extra care in our communications. Expect delays in your commute, changes in flight plans, hotels missing your reservations, verbal miscommunications, or other hickups in both areas and do NOT sign a contract or buy a car, TV, computer or phone during a retrograde!

Hey, thank goodness they fixed the problem. Was kinda weird that no one was talking about it online when it happened. Guess cuz it was a Monday nite.

Thanks for the info 'astro' followers!! I do some astrology but don't make it a habit to follow current movements and their affects...
I will keep this in mind since I've been having trouble completing a move... and some missed communications with relatives.

im the last one to be talking about surreal things, but a couple of years ago in the same day my ATM wouldn't work, and a place I go for coffee couldn't take my credit card because all of the machines were down in the area! later my internet was down. was talking to a very spiritual friend of mine and she said very matter of factly that her laptop isnt working and its the mercury retrograde....so now Im a believer

Metro phones coordinate with Verizon towers. If there's a problem with Verizon or Metro - they can both affect eachother.

I agree. "Ghetrro PCS" sucks - and not in a good way sometimes.

However unlimited 3G Internet, long-distance & texting on your "smart phone" for $57 bucks a month?

UNBEATABLE!

An especially important consideration considering undependable phone service can negatively affect business and reputation.

I was helping a provider friend deal with some family issues when this happened to her Monday night. She couldn’t make or receive calls to me or from me when we were trying to check out her phone while sitting in the car next to each other. However, she could get my text message.

Imagine the “flake” frustrations when a guy drives 40 min after call #1 and can’t connect for room number on call #2.

I can understand why some providers say no text messages in their ads, as a lot of BS messages can drive up cost. But as soon as one can afford it they should opt for the unlimited text message package.

Well Verizon does not have a 4 phones for $100 plan.. I have my personal, my business, and 2 kids have phones all for $100 unlimited!!
