"keep your digital lives separate also! especially with FB"

the web has a nasty way of linking our digital lives. so this is a story about keeping your personal digital life separate from your RB digital life...

i had a provider's RB email stored in my Yahoo contact list. then one day i got a suggestion on my Yahoo page to add her to Facebook, complete with her real name and picture.

she evidently entered her RB email into her Facebook account, and Facebook found her as a 'friend' i should add through my Yahoo contacts.

I called her immediately and she corrected the problem.

actually she said she had changed her email address (to a private email) in Facebook a while ago, so FB was linking her old email address (her RB email) to her current account

but just another reminder of how the internet is connecting more and more dots and if you want to keep your privacy on this site you need to keep your digital lives separate just like you would in your regular activities.

This is good advice. I'll go you one more. Don't open any website of a hobby nature while logged into a site of a personal nature, or visa versa, unless you don't mind your information being shared.

I was logged into my hobby yahoo account when I opened my personal facebook account and FB started asking me if I wanted to add friends, BY NAME, from my Y! contact list. Just by being logged into Y!, FB was able to gain access to my Y! contact list.

I've been able to find many providers on myspace and facebook when I research a potential lady for a future appointment. Another flaw is providers using pictures they have on Red Book on myspace or facebook. They use different email addresses or names, but the picture is a dead giveaway. Oh, the pictures are non-nude clothed pixs.

Precisely.

"Summer Hamiliton" lives on 1122 Boogie Boogie Avenue according to Metro PCS.

However, if you're a real, crackhead stalker, you can search the archives and some of us who unintentionally posted our original numbers (not knowing any better), and find all the info connected with our real names/other businesses/websites just by entering the those numbers in Google search.

I've had a couple of handles post my personal information/other financial company business and family pictures this way,
had to inbox Red, get the info deleted expos facto on here -
and it was nothing nice.

When dealing with an RB stalker, minutes between "alert" and deletion can seem like HOURS.

There are plenty of people on RB and PB willing to teach you

"Provider 101 - The Basics" - when you first get here.

Some people that want to help you are benevolent - some malevolent - watch out.

As a provider, I would stick with the advice coming ONLY from other five-star, professional ladies.

To the hobbyists - get a "hobby phone" from Metro PCS or other pre-paid phone (no contract) plan where you can give them whatever info you want about yourself and they don't care.

Smart providers don't answer calls from pay phones or blocked numbers.

Calling from your workplace, "Dr. Don Juan" - or better yet - your wife's, family-Verizon-plan - "Shirley Youjest" -
isn't a good idea.

Sometimes, I think it's another provider calling for a reference when I see a female name and you'd be suprised how many times it's a guy calling from his family plan under his wife's, cell-phone carrier's, FAMILY PLAN.

If you do your research and only contact well-reviewed girls, you'll do just fine.

However, if you're a "TOFTT fella" or only call girls with super low rates - take serious precautions .

Only show up to the session with your donation and keys to your car.

If I were a hobbyist:

I would only show up with the donation (maybe an extra $20 if I feel like tipping for OUTSTANDING service), and have an extra key to my car in a magnetic box underneath the back bumper or something just in case I was robbed.

I'd leave my cell phone and everything else in my LOCKED vehicle, parked around the block from the provider's incall
(if I were not seeing a well-reviewed provider).

In a residential area, I'd wear "gym clothes" and Nikes
(or whatever) that look like I'm going on a high-cardio walk or something.

At a more private incall location (like mine), I'd show up in whatever I felt comfortable in - I'd just park in the big, country drive-way like any other therapeutic massage client coming to my home massage studio, friend or family would do.

At an upscale hotel, I'd be dressed in my "best."

I'd never pick up an SW, go to a bad neighborhood or
"No-tell-motel" - so I can't advise you on that kind of activity.

But hey - some fellas thrive on "the thrill" of the hobby - and therefore, must be prepared to take their chances accordingly.

Good hobbyists and providers help everyone stay better informed in this community.

By doing so on a regular basis, we can all help eachother stay SAFE and have fun as we go about our Redbook adventures!

It's always Summer at my place! xoxo
