Any of you hiring?
Any ladies in need of an assistance? Not a pimp an assisatant if you need some one to go grocery shooping, laundry, cleaning, handy man, cook, dog walker, gardening, run errands, ect. I don't even mind shooping from the "occuard isle". I'm not looking to get paid in sessions I need money to pay bills.

Wasn't it you who was going to save 1000 bucks a month and retire in 5 years. And live off the interest.
Or was that someone else?

If it is. Then how about you go back to school and get a degree in something useful. And ask your family for help while you do that.

Yes that's me. But things did not go as plan. I've already ask my family for help and that was a total waste of time.
The only bright side to all this is that I realize I want to spend more time at home with my little girl. unfortuntely I have not experiance in any field other than truck driving and having a bad driving record has gotten me rejected from local delivery jobs.
And to be honest I have no idea what I would get a degree in. Plus I have no money for school.
If I can't find a job by friday I will probably try to get a job as a rent-a-cop

There are lots of crappy jobs in the newspaper. Seems like you could get one of them to get you by for now. If you go the rent-a-cop route, does that make you LE (just kidding)? Good luck in finding something that you will enjoy and that will pay you a fair wage.

I don't mean to be hard on you brother but How did you get that bad driving record? By driving bad? When you make a living driving why screw up the license?
My Son in law looked for a job for a year before he found one. Search all the city and county websites. There are many places to apply on line. Just be persistant. It takes time. Even with all the budget problems the state is still hiring. Thats where he found a job. Good luck and quit driving crazy!

$60,000 in your Checking account can be enought:
I had $50,000 on 03/31/09.
I Bought 500-share of Apple (Aapl) @ $87.50 = $43,750.
Immediately I margin it to 1,000 because Apple Can Margin up to 43% +-
I Am Lucky : Apple has been up up up, and I am living on Margin gains, and whenever I need extra hobby money I sell 25-share, I still own 450-share @ today $240.28 per share ; and my account Net is $47,762 today !

M8, I might have met you in mixers - I am under-employed : used to make $40-45K per month, now make $4-7K a month. No need to ask what I do - I am in Real Estate And Real Estate Related line of work.
Go get a Real Estate Sales License, there is 1 Real Estate License in every family in California !

Bartender! Why didn't I think of that sooner. That would be a great part-time job if I decided to go back to school.
Thanks EdmidLife2.

   Month. Not week.

And sounds plausible. $100k houses selling for half a million, and selling like flapjacks. At 3 or 6% it would not even be hard to do, just a few sales per month.

So I attended bartending school.
Wow there is so much to learn. But I'm confident enough that I will get it all down by the time of my final exam.
So if any of you need a batender for a mixer or party you can count on me. I can make anything from an Adios Mother fucker to a Virging Screwdriver.

In the meantime you could piece together a couple of jobs like throwing newspapers for record, tracy press or penny savers. You could also work part time for one of these cell phone Mall outlets. 2-3k a month to pull you through. Try CL if your good at painting or cleaning.

Something that is a little help is donating blood.

It's not a whole lot of $ to you- purrrrhaps $30 each visit..but go figure, you never know the help you may be to a person, who needs your blood!

Win - Win situation all the way around!
'Good' always comes back around to you...

wink*

Good luck.
