"Somewhat Frustrating..."

I have been on Red Book for more than 2 years or so and I have had the pleasure of spending time with some very popular, four and five-star providers. Unfortunately, as of late, I have made appointments with a few providers that have not answered the door when I showed up. Also, when speaking to them on the phone I have made appointments only to have them refuse to provide me services because I am black.
I will not mention who they are and do not really fault them for their preference in providing services to certain ethnic classes. However, the problem I have is each time we have enjoyed a pleasant conversation. When I ask the question, "Do you provide services to men of color?" They majority of them answer no and it appears to be an epidemic in the Central Valley, specifically Fresno.

I am wondering what is going on? Has there been a rash of bad experiences with black men? I am highly-educated, very well-spoken, well-dressed, etc. This is not a rant, but would really like to hear from providers regarding the phenomenon. Thanks."

The subsequent thread and poll were merely started to give ample opportunity for anyone who wished to reply and with a desire to put the subject to rest.

Since this has been pretty much beaten into the ground, I hope that it will at least bring awareness to those ladies who choose not to see black clients that they need to state that in their ads.

I think most of us will agree that the best encounters with a member of the opposite sex are when both parties are comfortable and relaxed being with each other in such an intimate setting. If they are- they are. If they aren't, they aren't.

Look there is no shortage of civilians, hookers; you name it for blacks to mess around with. I am not sure any of the black hobbyists are looking to win some idiots’ hearts either.

It is true that many of do tell girls not to see blacks and threaten to stop seeing them if they do- because you are as ignorant and hateful as they are.

But what is disturbing is saying I cannot see you because you are black or white, especially after they have wasted their time.
It reminds those who legitimately graduated from at least high school or know something about the history of such behaviors of those days when we had signs at restrooms and restaurants, public places saying “white only”.

To equate discrimination against any ‘blacks’ because of his or skin color with someone not wanting to see Asian, whites or Latino is a pure testimony of ignorant.

When was the last time someone got turned away because they are white, Latino or Asian? It happened to you, you did not complain on this board. But that has been the case thought out the history of this country and South Africa-intentionally causing harm and pain to black on the basis of their color.

Yes people have rights, but why will A . member want to become a hooker or escort? How do you tell if someone is 50%, 60%, 90%, and 100%, black or white?

In any case this country sure has too many sick and ignorant people that certainly do not belong to any civilized community. But again that is what makes us special. Even the worst of the worst are entitled to a space where they can display their stupidity.

But if one chooses to be an idiot at least he or she must publicly let people know. That way potential victims could easily get out of that person’s way but do not hid behind a web page as some of our ladies do.
I am sure no black dude will bother to call a provider with hood on, but at the same time a lot of brothers here will participate. It may not be right but it produces less victims.

People who maltreat any person on the basis of the color of skin are racists. Whether they do so in the name of the constitution, the bible or their grandparent or not they are racists and ignorant.

Many are OK with the notion that easiest way for any idiot to create black-victims is by creating a profile on RB with a phone number, a picture and then go to work playing the deviant game on one black after another. If a provider can tell at least 10 blacks in a month that because of their color they worth nothing that is good for many. What a good way to relive the old days?

Yes we all know there are young pimps out there many of whom are black that think they can use RB as a recruiting tool.

On the other hand, some of the best guys I know on RB are black, and most of the biggest assholes I know are white.

Yes, only 7 voted. I think most think, it's none of your dam business. It's their business and they can choose to run it how they want to. If it decreases their profits, then so be it. I do wish they'd put it in their ads though, and stop wasting hobbyists valuable time. Just like their time; our time is valuable too. It cuts both ways.

And we all dam know, this subject will be brought up again and again as new hobbyist enter the fold. There are many subjects like GFE, that we have to endure listening to over and over again. If you aren't liking what you're getting find an ATF and see her the majority of the time. Anytime you see someone new it's a crap shoot, even if she has reviews, because everybody has different preferences and experiences. No two are alike. Get use to it! Life is full of DISAPPOINTMENT!

PUHLEEZE, Spare me. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If a provider CHOOSES to see or not see a particular race, it is HER prerogative. Deal with it. I am not missing the point here. I have told all who will listen that I am neither black or white so I am a caasual observer of this racial divide. I am hispanic and I have been the recipient of less than good service on several occasions. I have stated my observances faulting both providers and clients who do not state it all up front. Chicks will refuse to see any one they don't wish to say and I say again, it is entirely their prerogative. If Claude wishes to crucify them, he will do so without any help from me. Again, I am not missing any points here. Personal preference or prerogative trumps everything. You don't have to like it.
