Makes you wonder if people had sex or massages in the summer before air conditioning.
Pretty sure they did because the tropics abound with rugrats.

I'm lovin' this hot weather...makes me soooo horny!

The unseasonably cooler weather this summer would've been fine if our fall-winter-spring from 2009-2010 hadn't of been so brutally cold. In fact, the crappy weather that's hung over much of the bay area this year has sealed my decision to move to Los Angeles. I am SO over the cold, soggy weather here. Great city, but crappy, depressing weather!

Warmer weather? BRING IT ON!!!!

Big love,
DreuCMT

Nothing like dining, club hopping, theatre, on those warm Southern Cal Evenings. sure you will enjoy your new home (except for the awefull traffic).

Please remember those of us shivering in the fog next forth of July.

Yes, I love LA. It won the coveted number 10 slot as the most bedbug-infested city in the country. This from Terminix, the pest control company. If you start to feel the "itch" coming on in LA, it might not be what you expect.

I dunno, never really hot more than three days in a row (near the water, anyway), and I can remember some really fun encounters when it was hot and we were sweaty . . .

Even though I'm a dyed in the wool SF shade dog I was so done with the cold ass "summer" we were having. I've rather enjoyed a little roasting and I had the the extreme good fortune to have an extremely sweaty and fun time with an amazing lady in the middle of this heat wave and thoroughly enjoyed it. And I'm mostly Scandinavian so it takes a lot to make me really sweat and I got drenched. Fun.

Ok, who jinxed the beautiful, warm, summery weather?

Did we really only have ONE solid, warm beautiful day here? Really? I mean, REALLY? W T F?!

SERIOUSLY, this horrible, awful, cold, crappy weather has me really frustrated, and not in a good way!

I'm gonna bitch and moan here for a moment:

Did you know this is the worst "summer" weather in San Francisco in over 40 freakin' years? We've had...oh...MAYBE 2 weeks of nice weather this "summer". No, no, let me be more specific: That's TWO WEEKS TOTAL, of nice weather, since late May, though most of those days, while sunny, were windy and cool, like the weather that shifts in early spring, as winter is shedding its coat of frost and snow.

Ok, this is supposed to be summer, folks! SUMMER!!!!!!!

And yeah, I get it, that for all of you lucky souls who live on the Peninsula, in the East Bay, in the Northbay, farther south, and in the Central Valley, who have the luxury of warm days and nights ('cause you actually get to enjoy summer), my rant may seem ridiculous. You enjoy San Francisco here and there, and this crappy, damp foggy depressing weather is actually "charming", "refreshing" or "romantic" even, but for all we city dwellers, who have endured a non-stop winter season since late last fall (we didn't even get treated to much of our traditional Indian Summer, come to think of it, in 2009 ), it's gotten old real fucking fast.

No, I don't wish to spend one more day pulling on a parka, scarf, mittens, ear muffs, and my boots, when I go outside....it's freakin' AUGUST for crissakes, not DECEMBER.

No, I don't want to bundle up in front of my heater under my blankets one more god awful cold and chilly night! It's AUGUST! Warm weather....hello? Buehller? Buehller?

YES, I want to wear my sundresses, leave my layers at home, toss my boots into my winter storage closet, and pull on a pair of my new strappy stilettos. I want to wear my summer hats, not my earmuffs, and I want the sun to greet me, when I wake in the morning.

I AM SO DONE WITH THIS CRAPPY WEATHER!

UGH!!!!!!!!

Rant over. Pulling on my parka and layers to go walk my dog now

**Edit: my misuse of its, which is an easy one to screw up.

Big love,
DreuCMT

I for one grew up in the North Bay and I have never been happier with the weather since I have moved here to SF! I guess the grass is always greener on the other side. Today is perfect temperature for me and great for walking the dogs, they don't like it when it is hot. San Francisco's foggy weather isn't for everybody, but I sure do enjoy it. My body runs hot so I am commonly out in tank tops and flip flops, sometimes I wish it wasn't mandatory to wear clothes. I think my ideal outfit would be boy-cut undies and a tank top.

And on anther note Dreu if and when you do leave you will be greatly missed.

xoxo,
Giapet

Gia - Now you got me a little hot. I can picture you in your ideal outfit. Your body does run hot.

Fret not Dreu. The city's warm weather season is September and October. If hot weather puts you in the mood, then bring on some heat.

And yeah, I get it, that for all of you lucky souls who live on the Peninsula, in the East Bay,

Wait, wait, wait, I live in the East Bay(Oakland) and its been a lackluster summer as well. Cold and Foggy and Soggy til 1pm sometimes all damn day.

I have even travelled down to Milipitas where usually its warmer there all the time nope not this summer it was really hot 1 weekend I was the there when I returned later it was tepid.

Went camping in Wallace california slightly better it was painfully hot once and cooler the next 4 days:-(. I even asked a rec park employee had been this way all summer? "Uh no actuallysmilie_remote('') its been in the 100s. The temperature suddenly dropped."

Now I am thinking its me, I am like Storm where ever I go I drop temperatures. What its hot and sweltering til I breeze into town?

When I was a child Oakland was hot sometimes whimpering hot, so hot I was sticky and irritable and slept as much as possible or guzzled down ice cold water or was taken on happy exercusions to Ocean Beach or Alameda Beach where the water was refreshing and a lot less icky than today. It must have began changing when I was a teenager Thanks a lot you Planet Killing Climate changing Adults. Yea Yea thats right fuck up the planet, the eco systems, the infrastructures of commerce, and then die and leave right what do you care right you're dead, you had a grand ole time polluting and destroying and leaving the children of the future stucked and phukked.

Must have my own little pocket of sunshine carved out in Novato, because I've enjoyed beautiful weather basically all summer long!

And, having grown up in the Bay Area, I happen to love all of its weather patterns (love the coastal fog especially)...adds a little variety & a bit of unknown to the day.

So sorry to hear that many of you haven't had as nice of summer weather as you'd like. . .
