Hopefully this is not too off topic, or rather opposite topic...

I figured this community is pretty open minded and might have more connections and references then the craigslist bumbling masses.

But for those times when either finances are down, or we are looking for therapitic massage only without the affection and looking to treat a sports injury or other specific area of interest... Would the community recommend any traditional massage therapists, or perhaps a retired redbook FBSM provider?

(of course some eye candy is always appreciated)

Why look for someone who has retired? I believe that there are several highly skilled providers here that also offer straight massage. You could use the programmed search function for a list of CMT certified providers as a starting point.

There are a lot of massage therapists here that can provide that.

I have a beautiful home, well appointed, massage studio - the works -and am trained in Swedish, deep tissue, Shiatszu, Rapid Pain Release Technique, reflexology and Thai table.

I am looking forward to my Lomi Lomi class starting in October!

Ditto to what everyone else says. I offer a therapeutic only massage, as well as FBSM.

And yes, reference are required, whether you are booking for a therapeutic-only or FBSM massage. I screen in both my straight and sensual practices.
