Unfortunately though, all anyone can really do is try and warn the community. I mean, I wish certain people would just go away too, especially if they are dangerous. But when people start pointing the finger at Red and getting all upset because he's not banning people, they need to think it through a bit. The undesirables will just come back with new handles, new IP's and it would almost be worse because then you don't know who is who anymore. See what I am saying ?

In contrast there is a small handful of providers (most if not all of whom pay for advertising) who've been attacking people for years, have repeatedly posted private information in public forums (this could be things as little as inboxes, or as big as photos, real names and phone numbers) and just in general stir up bile wherever they go, and for some unfathomable reason (though the paid advertising is likely why) they continue on as if nothing has ever happened. The Mods role in, clean up the mess like they're Mr Wolf from Pulp Fiction, the provider lays low for a couple of days, and then goes about her spamming, evil business as if it had never happened.

If everyone was treated the same, no matter how much one might disagree with the chosen way, I doubt there would be a fraction of the "what's Red going to do about this" backlash as their currently is.

Cagefighter, for example, is an obnoxious troll who stirs shit at every turn, but for the most part is ultimately harmless, but he gets banned 5-6 times a month. He's never done anything a fraction as offensive, and potentially harmful, as some of these girls who's actions go routinely overlooked. Nay, not only overlooked, but passively endorsed by the continued efforts to clean up after them, defend them and even on occassion support them as "adding value" to the forums.

Interesting response there pitt. you responded to a statement that you didn't have to worry about your reputation as if it were in fact stating the exact opposite. You did that because you saw the word "reputation" and lapsed into a reflexive fear of your facade slipping. That was so primary in your concerns that it was the first point you wanted to address, though it was at the end of my post and wasn't even directly related to the topic at hand.
