"Review not posting"

I submitted a review of AJ Sullivan over 2 weeks ago and it has never posted. I noticed that she has since had one posted by glfnfvr which posted on 2009-09-24. My review was submitted long before that one.

So what happened??

LAST EDITED ON 30-Sep-09 AT 08:48 AM (PST)

For the review database, we accept flake reviews.
We define a flake as a confirmed appoinment by both parties, followed by a no show, no contact, no apology.

Yours is a last minute cancellation, which is not a fun, but falls outside our definition of a flake. Things happen and at least you knew you could leave after the call.

In a flake situation, you wait and wonder how long you should stick around. Then sometimes, you hang around too long that it becomes too late to try and find someone else.

You can post it in neighborhood watch if you want.

OK, thanks for the RB defintion of flake.

Altho making an appt & arriving at the agreed upon destination on time after a 20-30 min drive and then calling her upon arrival, only to find out she was busy & cancelled, was imo not professional. Especially since she had over an hour to have cancelled before I drove there.

It sounds like she double booked on you, which imho is a flake. She flaked because you never saw her. It could have been you or the other guy. Least of all is her lack of professionalism. Red, she flaked.

A last minute cancellation, he never saw her, she double booked and flaked on him, is a flake. Please post the review

Stuff happens. There are many other reasons.
Recognized or for whatever reason did not like the person, car, the situation, the vibe. Looked like LE or coincidentally arrived with some LE looking car, or pimp looking car. Prior client came late, or stayed late, or he came late and she already gave up on him. Could have been some mix up over the appointment time or some mix up with another client, next client came early. Could have won the lotto. Could have started her period, felt sick, pulled a jaw muscle, changed mind about working, needed a fix first, already made quota for the day, got kicked out of her room. Whatever. Stuff happens.

You can call it what you want. I call it a last minute cancellation. That is preferred to having her be forced to continue with with a substandard session.

A cancellation is not an RB-flake.

The difference is in an RB-flake, you sit in the parking lot (or at home/hotel) waiting for some indefinite period until your patience runs out. That is the wasted time that could have been avoided had you at least received some form of cancellation notice.

Clients cancel too. Nobody sets up an appointment with the intent to cancel, stuff happens.

It's great that you stick to your guns, Red -- I get very perturbed when hobbyists try to call a cancellation a flake.
