"Is there a limit to the number of inbox messages ?"
 

Is there a limit to the number of inbox messages that can be kept in the inbox. I was wondering if there was a number limit or a space limitation, and if so do the oldest ones start deleting themselves automatically once that point has been reached.

   I save all (useful for a mod) and have hundreds going back at least ten years. Have lost none.

there is not a limit, but the more you have, the longer it will take to refresh an open your inbox.
