"Security warning when sending PM"

for the last two days, when I try to send a message I get a pop-up that says information will be transferred to a nonsecure page on forum.myredbook.com and a further message that sending sensitive information is discouraged, or something to that effect. Has something changed? I'm accessing from a smartphone, Win Mobi 6.1 and Opera browser. 3G Ride'm CowGirls!
Got another warning when I tried to log in with my review password - "information from this page will be transmitted to an unsecure page at www.myredbook.com".
The only info is my username and password but I don't want my account to be hacked. I'm not aware of any change to my browser or hardware. Any idea what's going on?
