   Not sure if this is where to post this but I have noticed that when I respond to a thread I can see my response right after sending it but when I get out of the thread and go back in, I can see that I posted but I can't see the posting itself. Makes it tough to edit if I think of soemthing else later.

How do I avoid losing the ability to edit like that ?

Try refreshing the page (F5 on most systems)...it should show up then and you can edit etc.
