   to know that you don't have to dial *82 unless your caller ID is intentionally blocked (unlikely on a cell phone).

I believe the OP's gripe is that with a smart phone, phone numbers are a link that you can press and it'll automatically be dialed. Because of the *82, that would probably mean he has to cancel the call, and then manually delete the extra numbers so it'll go through.

I'm sorry dude but I just had to......Who's smarter, you or your smart phone? Evidence in this thread indicates the phone has a slight edge to this point.

   I know what you mean and that would be annoying but I don't use my smart phone to hobby and I doubt many do. I think at this point most use a prepaid toss away thats not tied to their name/identity in any way. Hence the poll result.
