There is no "new world order" here, it is simply the Christian Fundamentalist right wing conservatives in the USA telling the rest of the country how to live their life. As a group, they're no better than the Muslims that want to kill anyone that doesn't follow their religion. The rest of the country needs to grow some balls. Sadly, nobody seems to do that and when the AGs get their heads in the press demanding change, everyone cowers like chickens (Yes, that's YOU, Mr. Craigslist!).

The right way forward is to get prostitution in brothels legalised so that accounts can be kept and tax paid rather than exchanging hands in a cash economy. How many millions of dollars would California rake in from hooker income tax if it were legalised?

How much of this revenue do you think will go to anything truly useful, such as paying down the public debt?

How bout we just move for legalization and insist that the state government keep their goddamn fingers out of the pie, and leave everybody the fuck alone?

Damn near all of what was previously my money (or after tax money of other hobbyists) that the providers collect and spend is going to get taxed somehow before all is said and done.
