"I wish..."
 
   As the summer is approaching maybe a party not just for trannies, but for redbook members, whoever! At the beach. This is truly a fabulous city and sometimes a club downtown is just so regular! Maybe not, I just be thinking, and I like to party!!!

   How about meeting at a restaurant for a late Happy Hour w/ appetizers ... then Diva's later for drinks. I'm sure if enough girls voice an opinion the guys will follow ...

   'Cool idea!

I know of a place on Balboa in the Outer Richmond that would be cool for a smaller gathering called Simple Pleasure's Coffee. They have beer and wine, good food and coffee and on Monday nights they used to have live jazz with no cover. That's about all that occurs to me for nightlife out there... 'Course if things go well, prospective's will become clients, new special friends might be made and it won't matter LOL!

The world Famous Diva's is always a hoot of course, and if you're up for a little more in the way of adventure and truly appreciate a darn good strong and cheap cocktail, Aunt Charlie's Lounge is awesome. There's that other bar around Polk/B'way that I know has been doing some drag events. One place that I fell in love with was The Transfer on Market and Church; 'awesome happy mixed crowd and very central to nearly everything in SF.

I don't live in the city.. can someone do some legwork with various bars/clubs/venues and see if could work.. maybe 30 days in advance.

I am going to assume that all of RB will not be attending, just the TS/TV section.

A poll would be a good gauge as to whom would attend such an event as to get numbers of bodies.

There are two bars near Polk/B'way that have drag shows. The larger one is the Cinch on Polk between Clay and Washington which has a show every Friday at midnight. It gets super crowded near showtime so a gathering would be better several hours before that.

The other one is Kimo's on Polk and Pine. It's a very small bar with an upstairs showroom where the once a month drag show is on the 3rd Saturday.

For Market St bars with mixed crowds and a t-friendly atmosphere there's Martuni's at Valencia and LookOut at 16th and Noe.
