First, I am posting a day early, to give people a chance to check their calendars. I will be in chat starting at 8PM, and we will try to keep it going as long as possible. I may use a "busy icon" to be able to stay in the room, but that may mean I am away, so messages will probably not get read when I am away.Welcome to Cal45, who is as sweet as it gets for a person - my direct opposite. He, as well as my other chat mods, will be giving me advice and suggesting new hours. None of them is considered a "Yes" person. If I am doing something wrong, I do expect them to set me right.
All of our moderator styles will be different, yet together I hope we can form a core of some very loose rules, mostly built upon respect, as we strive for here. One thing of note, is not my doing, but check your lines when you post in the chat room. Many words are censored. That being the case, we mods will try to set standards for other words that we prefer not to see.
Lastly, thanks again to The Redbook Cabal, who have helped me understand the RB System a little better and also for giving me latitude in all things RB.
