Huh,What an odd black and white world you live in. Not too apart from those who claim that all TS women are still men, and the guys who like them sinful gay men. Just one slight step toward an inclusive view, but still quite bigoted.
I want to let you know that there is a lot more variance than you seem to think. I'll put myself up as an example. I've lived as a woman full time my entire adult life. Hormones, female name, presentation and all. Full time. I know at this point, due to an assortment of experiences, that I 'pass' as a woman the great majority of the time in day to day life. My gender isn't even a question in my day job.
And yet, when I go to Divas, and in some instances of talk here, due to my pics, I'm referred to as a CD, and not a 'real' TS. Which to me is kinda hilarious. Seems that since I don't have implants, only small home-grown variety breasts, it's assumed I'm pretty new to this, or not serious, or something. In the eyes of some, I'm 'still a man'. Despite, from my perspective, having never spent any time as a man.
Each different person who views this world has their own take. There's a diversity of views and a diversity of transgendered folk, and none of us fit nicely into little boxes thanks very much. The bay area also has a lot of racial diversity. You see a lot of asians and latinos because the bay area has a lot of asians and latinos.
As for the mix of 'real' ts versus cd/tv folks, well, I'd say that first that line is a lot blurrier than you seem to think, a lot of the girls you think are 'still men' are merely early in transition. But also, of course such a space has a certain amount of CD folk. It's one of the few places they can dress up and go out and feel welcome. At least by most of the crowd.
But the other thing is, if you want to be around fully passable, late transition ts women, go to -any club in SF-! We're out there, all the time, mixed in with everyone else. Just good luck spotting them. A lot of women who complete transition stop going to places like divas. They don't want to be seen as, or treated as TS anymore. The idea for many is to just be women and lead normal lives. The pro thing many do is a stepping stone because transition is expensive and hugely life-disruptive. Many lose jobs and friends, and hormones drive one a little crazy at first.
The reason why there are fewer full-on ts, full transition women doing pro work? because more of them are living the lives they want to be leading, instead. This means what remains are those who are starting out, those who are desperate, and those special wonderful and exceedingly rare few who really, actually enjoy the work.
Anyway, be well, and hopefully find more space for an open mind,
Love as thou will.
