Well I know this may break some hearts... but I didn't want anyone to worry... LOL

I won't be in chat this Sunday (the 23rd?) as I will be driving home late. I will also quite probably miss the next couple of chats until after the 1st. I have like 10 days to turn around 3 properties. So we are going to be doing like an "Extreme Home Makeover" on steroids and pulling 18+ hour days straight through.

This being "retired" sure is a lot of work... LOL

I will miss you all and the interesting conversations, but I'm sure the other girls will keep up their tradition and provide you guys with plenty to keep you occupied. And I'm depending on you all to have fun in my absence.

Considering the rates in the RE market, good luck covering the initial investment!

I have this theory though... buy low, sell high.

PS - It's not the initial investment... it's the fix up costs and govt fees that'll kill you. I have to pay $85 to the city for a "banner permit" - to hang a sign, the frigging banner itself doesn't cost that much. And that's the tip of the iceberg. This is not a field for the timid or the lazy.

How about those realtor signs? Do municipalities charge for those too?
