   Someone brought this up maybe 6 months or so ago. His example was more of a "i think she may have done it, and now i'm paranoid because a friend I knew caught something from her" or something to that effect.

I haven't heard of any actual stories of this happening as I would think it would be all over the board pretty quickly.

Totally not an urban legend. I could (but won't ) name at least a half dozen who put the condom on to top you and then sneak it off when they gat behind you. Pinky was famous for it. And even more who will bottom BB. A significant number will insist on a condom and most of those will actually have one with them.

Do not know what is changing but have posted a bunch about it in the SA forum. Seems like there are very few GGs, I've only met three or four in the past 2 years who insisted, and getting to be fewer T Girls who even carry condoms anymore. Or at least who do nto insist on using them. Something has changed but not sure what.

It is back to the way it was when I started this hobby in 1966 and no one used a condom unless it was a GG who was worried about getting pregnant. Probably not a big issue for the T-girls. Sure has me confused, especially in the city where we cruise with it's super high incidence of HIV.

Personally, I think it is the statistic that says that one out of every three girls you date is POS and so she has nothing to fear if you are. That may be an incorrect assessment but it seems to make more sense than thinking that they are just suicidal.

I know you guys don't post to be thanked, but two years ago a thread like this would have had two thirds of the posts deleted, or have the whole thread deleted. I appreciate the thoughtfulness in these posts, as it is a tough, emotional subject to deal with, much less write about it.

Interesting how you & Deanna have encouraged thoughtful and candid dialogue in this forum. I remember when one of the T-girls who lives a block from Divas was being outed as Pos. Guys were not out to ruin her rep but to protect each other. The then mods would even allow a general convesation about it even though it is a serious issue. The idea that both parties are at constant risk bears discussion. Seems I reall the last number posted was 35% of the working T-girls are pos. How many if the clients are, who knows but it is almost certain that some are. How do we address these issues if we are not permitted to talk about it? And I personally believe that we guys are just as concerned about the safety of the girls as we are about ourselves.

Just keep talking about them and keep bringing these issues up on the board. Yes many issues on this board are taboo or a blind eye gets turned to them. That doesnt mean they dont exist and that surely wont make them go away. Kr is right a few years ago this board would have been far to immature to handle this topic, but I think if any topic is presented in the right way it can stay on the board.

Hi Ray,
The most common theme has emerged through the discussion. Act as if everyone you play with is pos. Change habits accordingly. If someone knows something, the info can be passed by inbox after a general post.
If someone names so and so publicly, people could assume the guy who posted now has it, and it could ruin his future playtime.

I'm pretty paranoid but I find it kind of hard to accept that there are people who would willingly session with someone they knew to be positive...unless, of course, they themselves were also positive.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've read all the blurbs about transmission risk. But still there's a big difference between putting on your seatbelt right before you deliberately crash your car and putting it on to drive to work.
