A couple days ago I'm cruising looking for street action, but nothing caught my eye. So I decided to give this girl another call since I had her number still in my phone. I call and when she answers I say, "Hi this is XXXXXXXX. I'm not sure if you remember me but I wanted to know if you were available." She tells me "Yes I'm available but I don't provide at that rate anymore, my half is now 150." It seemed a little weird to me that she knew I just wanted half hr, and that she would discuss donation on the phone since she normally posts ads(my assumption from reading these forms is that if she posts donation info, she will not discuss over the phone). My loss since 100 is all I had to spend that night, guess I'll just go home and rub one out. All well and good until I get to the desktop. Just out of curiosity, I'm cruising the ads and what do I see? Her ad! And guess what? She is advertising at 100 for the half hour!! I send a text saying her ad says 100 but not to my surprise I don't hear back.

What did I do wrong to get upsold? Was she desperate for cash, or did I do something wrong the first time I saw her? Has this happened to any of my bros here? Should I say something about it in Neighborhood Watch?

You most likely didn't do anything wrong or out of the ordinary. She just threw that out there to see if you'd bite. You didn't. Good for you.

Things like that are irritating, but there's not really much point in trying to figure it out. There's no way to know what she was thinking, other than "Maybe this guy will bite on 150 this time". At least she didn't spring it on you after you got there.

It seems that this might meet the criteria for an NW post, but then, she may be running another ad somewhere that quotes different pricing.

If this is the worst thing that has happened to you, you're doing okay. Sounds like the problem is on her end, not yours. Keep it that way. Your time is better spent finding another one that suits you.

You liked her it seems...and apparently there are a lot of other guys who do too. Law of supply and demand...demand is higher, and she senses it. So good for her to raise her rates.

Girls who are truly independent post their own ads and may not be able to monitor them to maintain consistency and updated information. Too many guys get attached to what's in the ad, not realizing that pimps are mostly the authors. Of course they are going to post lower rates to get the calls. But if a few bucks here or there will kill the deal for you, then you should ask point blank when you make the call. Usually it's the girl who is paranoid about talking rates over the phone, but guys should clear that up before making the trip.

Wayne, if you really like her, give her the $150. If you think about all the bad service you've gotten from other girls, giving this girl the extra $50 for knowing that you will get good service is a good choice.

I wouldn't take it personally. This is a professional relationship, there are plenty of other providers.

What you should of said is that you only have 100 bucks and will that work.

Forget this upseller and go find another girl. Her loss.
