"a Flake is like a Rob"

if you set up an appt. w/ a provider, drive to location, second call in the parking lot, and then they flake on you, that's like a rob, guess that's why the zero = rob

but to me they carried slightly different impressions, until I got flaked on, then I was robbed of my time = money by a provider

lesson learned - never ignore a flake report...or you may be writing one

learned the hard way, a flake report in a provider reviews will carry major weight in my decision making, and considered = a ROB

Please lets not complicate meanings of terms by making up your own conotations. Flakes and ROBs are two distinctly different situations.

LOL! At least with a flake you still have your cash and haven't met a pimp.

I was told 90% of the RB brethren kept their appointments before CL virtually shutdown erotic services. Now those CL refugees have found their way to RB, and I'm told the "appointment flaking" from RB guys is 50%. But that's translated into my ATF's calling me more frequently

And the very same applies to a guy who FLAKES on a girl. Yes, believe it or not any guy that has set a day/time with a girl and flakes is also a FLAKE. A ROB is light years different than a FLAKE

a flake is not = ROB

looking back, when I started that thread I think I was just pissed, duh

and thinking out loud that the zer0 in service on reviews = rob,

but now I read the flake reviews, to help in determining what I need to do to avoid a flake situation

The information is there, it's up to the individual how to weigh it.

For me, a ROB is a deal killer. No Exceptions. I would also write a detailed review about the circumstances, and in a really dangerous case, might even call police.

A flake is different. I'd take the reports into consideration. Example: a provider with 15 reviews of which 12 are good and 3 show flakiness might get my business if I'm already interested. But if she's 50 miles away and I'm tight on time, I'd pass. Other example: a provider has flaked on me and it really put me out, I wouldn't waste my time trying to see her again, but I might not write a review unless the situation were really bad and a review would help the RB community. In other words, I don't need to vent my dissatisfaction on the review boards. Last example: a newer provider has 4 reviews and 2 are obvious fakes and the other 2 document flakiness, I'd pass.

So, in my world, ROB is simple: stay away
Flake less so: proceed with caution
