"Reviews"

Is it me or does it seem like when a new provider pops up that their first review is always positive? Making them out to be the best thing that has ever came along. I am thinking, in fact sure of it that most of the time it was written by them. I made a mistake a couple of times doing this, so not again for me.

I really rely on reviews so I do my homework these days in hopes that I do not make a bad decision and waste not only money but my time also. It's a damn expensive hobby so all the info I can get to help me out is very valuable.

I agree. And frmo what I've seen, often the first reviews seem made up and just happen to be posted by handles that have never posted reviews before.

The fact that a new provider only has one review isn't bad. The fact that the review is from someone that never makes reviews IS suspect. Every now and then I TOFTT, and sometimes I've been the 1st to review.

My favorite is when the girl reviews herself under her own handle and gives herself a 8 or 9. Those make my side hurt.

This is a post I made on the subject a couple of months ago in the General Forum:

A review is the subjective reporting of a hobbyist’s experience with a provider.
The skill and attitude of the provider as well as the skill and attitude of the hobbyist will shape the experience.
A lot of hobbyist consider a provider’s skills on the basis on what she does with her mouth and tongue during a blow job, the way she thrusts her pelvis during intercourse, and the way she touches, caresses, and fingers his balls. Hobbyist vary in how they like it, different stokes for different folks, so much depends on how intuitive she is to apply her skills in the way that will most please her man. (in the context of a GFE session you are her man during that hour) and how capable the hobbyist is in communicating, mostly non verbally, his desires to his woman. (in the context of a GFE session she is your woman during that hour)
Some hobbyist like to keep it simple, they just want to bust a nut in the mouth or the pussy of a hot babe. A reasonably pleasant demeanor and a drama free environment is all that is needed.
There is no wrong or right approach to the hobby, just different depending on the needs and interest of the participant. However, the hobbyist who has a low opinion of women that “sell their bodies” or thinks that since he is paying her he need not respect her, or take her feelings into account, is not likely to get as good of a session as the hobbyist that has the skill and attitude to make a woman feel safe, comfortable and appreciated.
So key things I look for in reviews:
1. She is not LE or a ROB or a dangerous person.
2. What is on the menu, i.e., DFK, BBBJ, DATY
3. Attitude, does she like providing, is her approach mechanical or passionate.
4. Any comments on pics being accurate or not.
Scores are even more subjective and I tend to see 10, 9, 8, as being almost the same score. I'm more interested in the narrative.
BTW, I think a lot of hobbyist will write more detail in a TOFTT first review than on a provider who has 2 or more pages of reviews where a quick confirmation of previous review findings or pointing out differences may be all that is needed.

The only reason I went to this much effort is your comment, “I really rely on reviews so I do my homework these days in hopes that I do not make a bad decision and waste not only money but my time also. It's a damn expensive hobby so all the info I can get to help me out is very valuable.”

You can see the full expanded reviews because you have done reviews. But, to do the searches described here you will need VIP Membership. There are also some additional provider details/characteristic searchs that can be done with VIP Membership.

I hope this helps you. Good luck and enjoy the hobby.

I have always thought that a first review gets slammed too much. Placing reviews is one way to keep your non-vip membership free. You might also only be able to see a new provider as you don't have any provider references to offer.
I have to admit that I rarely see a provider with only one review however. I have not had a bad experience with any of those one review ladies I have seen though. (might just be damn good luck)

Buy VIP membership so you can see how many/quality of their previous reviews. This should weed out the obvious shills.

Experience is a good if not best teacher. Your personal recollection of events and individuals will allow you to remember a fat whore when she posted under 2 previous names with the same phone number or same name and two different phone numbers in 4 months.

Fellas what really sucks is when your work schedule will only allow you a few hours a week and you spend that hour wasted because the provider with the fake review wasn't worth the effort.

If one is serious about their due diligence then having VIP membership here is critical as it allows us to review the reviewer. A one-review provider from a one-review hobbyist is almost always a 10/10 (or maybe one nine thrown in to be clever) and is almost always a fake. Personally, I wish that RB wouldn't post first-timer/first-timer reviews.

Any review that has higher than average scores has to be carefully looked at. If they use phrases like - "she has beautiful eyes" or "guys, she's worth every penny" - then those are most probably self-written or fakes. Any reviews that mention how intelligent the provider is or ones from moonstruck guys ("I felt like she was my girlfriend") should automatically be discounted as not credible.

I have a small tech/PR business and reputation management (aka commissioned reviews) is on occasion part of that work. I'm not talking about shill reviewing a weak provider to generate business, which is always a waste of money. This means that I spend more time than I'd like reading reviews and I think that its important that they be viewed as part of the marketing. This isn't Robert Parker reviewing a Cabernet, after all.

NealDown's suggestions about giveaway phrases (reviewer is a girl, reviewer is in love with provider) are important, but equally important is considering the collection of reviews en masse. But remember, YMMV.
We all look for something different, yet it seems like only the top providers knows how to work out "what is he after?" and be that person for the session.

I'd also suggest looking at the girl's website and advert carefully - they always show someone's personality.

But, most importantly, the "quality" of the provider can actually play a small part in determining the experience you have. If you turn up clean, with a token gift (a Frappucino not an Hermes scarf), a smile and a funny story, you will sometimes find that you have a mindblowing experience with a provider who was rated middling yesterday.

Also
1. A three dollar tip wont win you friends, but it is at least funnier than giving a tip then asking for it back to pay for your cab, or offering to pay with your iPod! (all true, recent stories)
