"411 on Picture checks"
 
Can anyone tell me how to run a search for a picture to see if it really belongs to the poster?

I've been chatting with someone who sends me pics but I'm not sure if they're really hers or are lifted from the web.

Any insight will be helpful

No shit?? Its that easy?

Would luv to but she lives in another country, thus, the question !! I know there's a way because I have read posts here where someone found bogus pics on the net or confirmed pics were real. Any special software for this or web sites that can give assistance?

   A lot of people go to http://tineye.com/ and check for hits of an image. If you like the results and find it helpful, you can download the plug-in for your web browser which makes it a quick right click on any image to see if there are "hits".

It's not perfect, but often you can find photos of girls that are stolen from other websites (although who is to say who stole it from who) but it works well.

If you want, run a few searches in Neighborhood Watch for " tineye " and read the various posts/threads where you will see others have discovered stolen pics of someone else.
