"References"

Hi- New user who is confused on the escort reference needed. What is the best way to establish a reference list. Does it mean start with a provider who doesn't require one and build from there??..Thanks

I think this question is more appropriately categorized under the 'General' or 'Soapbox' forum, but to answer your question, yes you need to start with a provider who will see you the first time without one, but it's important you start with a well-known, well-reviewed provider, and be sure after your session with her to ask if you can use her as a reference (and try to think of a memory technique so she'll actually remember you among the many (dare I say hundreds?) guys she meets). A sketchy provider that doesn't require references isn't gonna be much help - if you tell another provider the sketchy provider is your reference then 9 out of 10 providers won't see you at that point.

This question actually is posted in the General section, so I am not sure why you say it is more appropriately categorized under the General forum.

I have seen about 8 providers, none of which have asked for a reference. I don't really want to ask a non-reference provider to give a reference to a reference-required provider, so I am not going to bother with the ones that want a reference.

The thread might have been moved in the 3 hours before you posted. As to the OP, yes. If you want to see a provider who requests for references, you either see a reputable provider who doesn't first, or you provide other information that she can confirm. Since this usually involves sharing personal/work information, I chose to see someone who didn't require references when I first started out.

Providers that ask for references aren't ever gonna pay a mortgage using money from me. Giving information to a stranger is never a good idea. The person on the other end of the line you're telling you committed a crime to, are you sure it's a provider and not a PI hired by your SO so she can take half?

Cali is a no fault state but trust me, going into court with documented payments for seeing pros is not going to serve you well before any judge in this area. Were the funds used community funds? Were the funds from secreted assets? These two questions alone are going to fuck you and not the good way before any judge.

Can we talk about what documented proof of seeing whores can do to your career. Whores that want references can go to hell. If they need to do something to protect themselves, get a dog, buy a gun or just be a better person.

You are both right and wrong.

Giving information to a
>stranger is never a good idea.

Wrong in the SPIN you are putting on your statement, “Giving information to a stranger is never a good idea.” You are not giving personal information, you are giving the anonymous handle/name that you used with a previous provider. Your phone number is that of a non traceable to you hobby phone.

Ideally, they are not “complete” strangers as you have done your research, such as reading reviews and 411 posts.

>Were the funds used
>community funds? Were the funds from secreted assets?

Right- If it can be documented that you used community property funds that were not for the benefit of the community (the family) then you could be subject to a reimbursement factor when splitting up the assets. This will probably only come in to play as a negotiating point if it comes into play at all

Your choice to not participate in the reference process as there are plenty of providers that use alternative screening methods. But, no need for you to scare newbies with putting a spin on information.

Reasonable people can disagree. We disagree on this point. No spin. My opinion simply may not be your reality.
