"What would you have done?"

So a while back, I'm parked and on my way to a session at a house where a number of girls work. As I'm making my way there I encounter a well dressed guy at the elevator. While making small talk, I'm suddenly sure that we are actually heading to the same place. At the same time. I wonder how to handle it. I thought of a number of options.

1. I should trip him and rush past. It's possible my girl double booked and if so, I wanted dibs.

2. I could go all Man of the World and just ask him if he's heading where I am. We could then arm wrestle, flip a coin, politely negotiate who should arrive first.

3. I could just watch and see how it all plays out. If he's hip too, then we're basically playing chicken to see who blinks first. If not, I can enjoy watching to see how long it takes to dawn on him.

4. I could exercise discretion, make a wrong turn, dawdle for a minute, then double back. This allows everyone to maintain face and avoid awkwardness.

I went for option 4, mainly because I figure that's what both my RB brothers, and the girls of the house would want me to do. But I'm kind of disappointed as options 1, 2, and 3 sure seem a lot more fun. Would anyone else have done it differently? I'm just curious. BTW I asked when I got there and a different girl did indeed receive a guy just before me.

I have arrived just before another guy who was seeing a roommate. It's was awkward both times because I could tell the guys were super embarrassed and wouldn't look me in the eye when I said hello. In light of that I would probably do what you did.

How did you figure out in polite conversation that you were heading to the same place?

It wasn't the conversation, he merely commented on the weather. He was very well dressed, older than me but very well kept. If he's any kind of representative of the RB community, we're in good company. Dunno if he's reading this but he struck as one of those people you kind of know you'd like if you met them. That's sort of why I was tempted towards the other options. Anyway, without going into detail, for the sake of discretion, it was clear he was following instructions to get where he was going. That, by itself is no big deal, almost expected, given the destination. He also seemed to be in a very good mood. Take all that together, at that moment, and I was just suddenly sure of it.

IMHO, 4 is the best option. As Shakespeare once wrote: "The better part of valor is discretion". A lot of things could go wrong if you tried to confront the issue, worst of all could be alerting a square of the activity going on.

If worse case scenario, the provider did double-book, a call to confirm and reschedule is a mild inconvenience compared to causing a scene, alerting others and/or potentially forcing the provider(s) to relocate. Sure option 2 does sound like the makings of an awesome story, but who's to say it'd actually turn out that way?

If it was me I would have picked 4, seems like the right choice unless it was my ATF then it's fight on!!

What really sucks is when you knock on the AMP apt door and when it opens your boss is headed out the door~

I've had occasions where I've gotten out of the elevator and someone else has gotten out on the same floor. I always do what I can to let them get to their room first. Walk slow, make a wrong turn, go into the room with the ice machine. I feel very conspicuous knocking on a hotel door so I make sure it's when there is no one else in the hallway.

One time I was in the elevator with other people, including what appeared to be a pimp and another provider. When we got to my floor no one moved, so I figured they all were going up. I got out and proceeded towards the room. I was surprised to hear the girl and guy talking behind me, so I just continued past the room and went around the corner. After a minute I looked back and they were gone. I went back to my provider's room. The door was now ajar, with the dead bolt opened to keep the door open. As I peeked in, the woman who was in the elevator saw me, opened the door and said "I thought you were coming here - I was surprised when you kept going. Don't worry, I just needed to pick up something. I'm leaving." She left, the pimp was not there and the session went off fine.

My philosophy is to be as inconspicuous and forgettable as possible. I've had a lifetime of experience being unnoticed and forgotten, especially by women, so it's been fairly easy for me to be an invisible hobbiest.

I would've done a variation of 2 and 3. Which is to keep going to the target room and if we both end up there, have a great laugh together, then both of us call the Provider and tell her all about it. At which point, I, me, would then excuse myself and write the bitch off!

But you know, I've told of this one story once that happened to me about 3 yrs ago, where I think (I think) I got double-booked. Except that I waited in the parking lot like a good boy for her to answer, wonderful, right? So I assume another guy took my place in the double booking. I was so pissed, to say the least. What a bitch, huh?! She did call back 3 hrs later and I still agreed to meet and I had one super fantastic session. Since then, she's become a topmost ATF for me, go figure. Just thought I'd throw that in here. Around here, I'm no longer surprised at some of the most strangest outcomes I've run into even when there's a conundrum involved.

I guess I was unclear. She hadn't double booked. A number of providers all share the same space, which has more than one room. In this case two providers happened to book two clients for different rooms in the same space. The timing happened to be the same. They really should have coordinated and staggered our arrivals. I suspected this to be the case which is why I really wasn't leaning towards #1.

One of the coolest things about the legal Nevada brothels is that you can hang out in the bar and interact with the other customers. It's very social and fun ... not the hide-your-face shame deal of two guys meeting in one of the illegal establishments. It's all good clean fun.

There are pluses and minuses to the Nevada system, but one big plus is the casual atmosphere in the parlors. (I'm talking about northern Nevada. Southern's much different).

I'm a totally gregarious hobbyist (I have no shame), and would have completely brought it up had we arrived at the door together.

Tunaboy, I love that aspect about those places too. I used to love lounging in the smoke area of Golden Flower. PL's and AMP girls puffing and yakking away. I miss that place.

You never know who that guy might be or what he might be going to that apartment for. You think you know but why take a chance. I would keep walking and give it several minutes and then head back to the door.
