What I have said before is that Red should switch the "number of views" which nobody cares about to "number of reviews".

I totally agree. The 'number of views' pretty much is a function of how long the ad has been up. That really has nothing to do with the quality of the provider or what a hobbyist might be able to expect with the session. The number of reviews would be more meaningful but what is really important is the number of favorable reviews relative to the number of unfavorable reviews, although I guess that could somewhat be determined from the rankings. But you are right. I think some other statistic besides the number of views could be much more meaningful to hobbyists.

You and the previous posters are correct about this, however, I think the number of views is more for feedback to the advertising provider.
Just like people who have websites like to know the number of hits.

Why would a provider care about the number of views? They will only care about the number of calls.

   Hey, reviews are only there when RBers post reviews. Frankly I am super-thankful that us unpaid RBers can at least see the one-liner "teaser" and overall rating.

What I do hate is when I am browsing providers and I see one that looks interesting so I click on her ad and start opening pictures to get a better look... and she has T.P.S (Tiny Picture Syndrome!)

The interface providers have should warn them if they are posting a pick less than say 200x150, anything smaller means they are probably mistakenly uploading a thumbnail instead of their full glory.

It would be a good feature if Redbook could display the providers post count next to her ad title and a pic, with out having to open the link.

The ranking thing would create a bigger shit storm of fake reviews than already exists. They might start smearing each other to knock each other down in the rankings.

I'd like to see a number next to the reviewers handles showing how many reviews they've written.

There already is a similar feature. If you read the reviews with the Classic interface, click "search" next to the reviewers handle where they are numbered from 1 to 30 (or however many he has).

The newer interface doesn't have this, you click directly on the handle, but should be fairly easy to glance at and tell if he has 5 or several dozen. Or were you thinking of something different?

   My biggest pet peeve is when they allow allow transgender providers, meaning "men", to advertise themselves as women. This has been happening lately.

   I would like to be able to search multiple ages/ethnicities at once. Not just an "only one or everyone" style of search.

ex. "18-20 & 21-14, Black & Latina" etc etc

   I rarely see providers any more but still enjoy reading the reviews now and then. But when I am in the mood my biggest complaint is that the area for where the provider is located is usually wrong. Red seems to use the area code for the provider as the basis of location. Seems like well over half the time the location of the provider is far from where the review says they are.

I'd like to have my own "hot sheet" ... where I could list say 10 handles.... and then with one click in classifieds, have a copy of their lasted "edited" ad ... be pulled up ... all in one long html column .. that I could scroll thru

Try to pull up providers in San Francisco and you'll get a list for the entire Bay Area. The others show up because they listed San Francisco among their keywords.

I probably would have designed it so an incall provider has to list the city where she's working at the time the ad is posted, an outcall provider can still list a general area, and the potential customer can filter on incall vs. outcall.

I'd like to be able to search for providers that offer:

MSOG
Half Hour
Specials

And, I would like to be able to (fuzzy) search and find variations, an example would be to search on "San Jose" and find "San Jose West."

Photoshopped pics, brushing out the outrageous amount of tattoo's some of these providers have.

I won't name anybody, but I had a session with a provider who looked like a "Tagged Railroad Car" but her pictures where such that the photographer was either good at position and/or photoshop.

I am not saying she misrepresented herself, but what I am saying is that she is aware that her tatoos are overwelmning, because they barely show in her post.

If quizzes are quizzical, what are test?
