"Getting Rid of Porn - Part 2"

How come you hid it from her? Wouldn't it be nice to have a gf
who doesn't care if you watch porn or better watches it with you?
This is how guys end up marrying women they cannot stand after
10yrs because they were so desperate to hide their true behavior
or needs. It's like marry girl who won't take it up the ass when
you love anal sex. A closed mouth doesn't get fed. If you really
like porn let her know now. Because later on when you go back to
watching porn and she gets mad it won't be her fault.

That being said .. what to do with your porn collection:

1. Sell on ebay or adultdvdmarketplace.com or naughtybids.com.
Or give it away to horny college kids. Just make sure they are legal.

2. Rent a storage unit at some Pubic Storage like place and keep it
there. You may want it back later when/if you break up.

3. Scan the photos/mags, rip the DVDs, and store files hard drives.
A 1TB hard drive can hold about 125 full length DVDs and cost $90.
Now you can still look at them on your computer without gf knowing.
Then you can throw away the originals or do options (1) or (2).

I should have added .. the one exception to telling/showing your
gf your porn collection is if you have some really extreme porn.
Then you may not want her to know about it.

i like your first answer better than the exception. no exceptions: find a chick who likes what you like or doesnt care if you like something she doesnt...plenty of girls are extreme too!

doesn't always work that way... if that were the case then she'd be cool with you having sex with others as well.

now, now, now hold up there buddy.

If no one liked it, it wouldn't exist.

In fact, you may as well assume the following: If it exists, there is porn for it, therefore people like it. Cruising around once, I came across a Japanese site in which a chick dressed up like a superhero got captured and eaten by a monster the size of a van. The view then changed to inside its stomach where she rolled around in goo while her costume was digested. Then the monster shit her out all naked and covered in goo.

I liked it. Still have it. Not showing it to my wife.

My experience is that watching porn with your girl is a total waste of time. Women do not like the same raw raunchy stuff men like, so what your enjoying she is usually turning her head at going yuk.

There is porn out there for couples. It has more story, less anal, more soft stuff.

Most women find porn monotonous, and boring after ten minutes. Being the total porn whore that I am, I find myself being able to know what I want, what I need, and find it very satisfying in between my normal couples gigs. I just have not found a girlfriend that can appreciate my porn tastes, or that wants to share it with me. I find having sex with a women to be totally different than watching porn by myself, or watching porn with her.

All my porn is (now was) digital. About 200 gigs in total. This last week I deleted it all; photos, videos, stories and all. Was faced again with an illness that could have taken my life, and did not want to leave that porn legacy behind me.

Feeling very free, Now I am on the road to recovery, but glad I dumped the porn once and for all

Just got rid of everything mid last week, before they were putting me in the hospital. Still too sick to care much for porn. I remember going year without, and looking forward to doing so again. To be honest, I think I was already, or was on the road to porn addiction, and don't like anything controlling my life. So I am glad I got rid of it all, Back home recuperating, and sitting on the porch looking at clouds sure is more enjoyable than looking at porn, at least at this juncture of my life

Too short of a time. I hope you make it & the real test is after you recover from what ever you have & regain your strenght. Thats when it creeps in ... This is man's oldest addiction to the world's oldest profession.

200 gigs of Porn....yeah, I would say you not only were on the road, but you reached your destination....only question is...how long before the skin grows back on your hands?

Just kidding, good luck with the health!

Bravo to you... I admire this, but as for me. I find myself throwing it all out/deleting files. Then come a couple weeks/months later I am back to collecting it. I seek out particular pornstars and its hard to give it up. Maybe its because I attended too many asianmodelpalooza events in socal awhile back.

It's for similar reasons that I asked a very close friend to accept the responsibility of "sanitizing" my computer before my family had my belongings turned over to them in the event of sudden death. It's a good idea to put something like this into your will to prevent roadblocks from family members where possible.

I've dumped my porn a couple times since I've been married. Sometimes the wifey likes it and sometimes she don't. Pretty much left with iPhone porn now.

If you are worried about somebody discovering your digital porn
collection (e.g. if you go into hospital) then encrypt it using
PGP or put it on hidden partitions using TrueCrypt.

I thought of that, as well as using bit locker (I have vista ultimate) but in the end, I thought it better to move in in life. I was not just concerned of my files being found while in hospital, but if I was to die, not to leave that to be found by others. To that end, now I am starting to put my toys up for sale on ebay and or fetish auctioneer

Just me but I watch porn from time to time but do not collect it. It's not like a classic movie.

As far as a girlfriend, I guess each person has to decide on their own what to do. For me, I wouldn't let porn get in the way of a great relatioship with a great girlfriend. A real relatioship with a good woman is real. The porn is not. That porn would cease to exist!
