Watching 60 Minutes tonight.... Andy Rooney has some bit about "Thanksgiving isn't like it used to be..."

"... there were no AMP's in Plymouth in 1621... "

He wasn't talking about brothels.

What else does AMP stand for? Is that a military term?

Did he say the word AMP as in short for Amplifer, or did he use letters?

Not seeing the show, I'll assume (since he's on the east coast) he said "A *and* P" which stands for Alantic and Pacific tea and trading company which owns a grocery store chain called A&P.

I see a lady... down town... afternoon. She's young, cute (perhaps an obvious nose-job), wearing a sweatshirt, tight fitting jeans, hoop earrings, a baseball cap (no MLB team affiliation -- some designer logo), and carrying an oversized hand bag. I wonder to myself, "Where does she dance?"
