"Registered symbol"

When looking at the girls ads recently I had noticed the (.)symbol next to some of the ads...I had thought it meant something on the ad was trademarked..duh..just found out it meant they had reviews and pointed the way..just curious...since this is the symbol for registered trademark..is the symbol itself a trademarked item?

Since all one has to do is to hold down the Alt key while typing 0174 on the numeric key pad on a Widows based operating system, I would think that the ® mark itself is not copywrited or trademarked.

VanDykeRides is working on it, lol.

Perhaps we should invest some stock with him, could be a real money maker. Since I know how busy your are, send me the money and I'll buy some shares when I buy mine.

It is a new feature in classifieds that is put next to a reviewed provider to make searching between knowns and unknowns a little easier for us. Helps to sort out the Craigslist influx!

Whatever made you think ® is registered? That is like saying © is copyrighted. It's a standard text symbol...... I wonder if I can copywrite e ? And collect bakc payments.....

It was a question...my train of thought is it could be classified as an intellectual property that informs the item listed is registered...that is why I did not click on it when I first saw it...mislead me into thinking something was registered in the ad? Unlike you(possibly)I tend to spend more time looking at the pics than reading? Didn't think this was a major stumper for you?
