For me it was three years but that was two years ago.

   6-7 long, tortuous months for me. Other commitments have an unfortunate tendency to get in the way sometimes!

   Almost 9 months. Not going to use the "retired" label just yet.. or ever. Not really realistic. But work has been busy, and I'm struggling with two thoughts. Between family vacations, major purchases, the desire for other major purchases, and the other little things that add up, do I really want to spend the money on a provider? Also, I'm in the best shape of my life since my twenties, and do I want to engage in behavior that some would consider "risky" to my health, even with all the precautions?

There is also the risk that the SO will find out, but I've been pretty smart about it so far. For now, I guess I will continue to support this site by keeping my RB VIP membership. Sucks because if I ever do jump in again, I'll have to start from scratch as far as references are concerned.

   Been playing for about four years now, and the longest break was eight months while I was dating this hot russian woman who was recently divorced. Now if I could only find another one like that ;)

I will go in spurts and that has to do with the cash I'm able to use without it being suspicious to my SO. Sometimes I will do this multiple times for a few weeks, then I will do nothing for six months. Probably the longest was about 8 months.

Ever since I had Stephanie, aka French Kiss, I've been looking for someone close to her skills and that alone has made me give up and take long periods of time without seeing anyone...LOL... Too bad Stephanie retired, or was it that she got married.

I've gone several months between sessions. Mostly because I wasn't getting the thrill or adrenaline rush I always got before a session. So when a bunch of sessions in a row felt just average, I figured it had to me more than the girls.

i don't recall the exact amount of time, but i know it was for several months right after one of my ATFs also retired. didn't care to see any girl (honestly, it was a pain in the ass). and i almost use the "retire" route myself, but along comes a beauty and it game on.

after a few years she retires, then for several months i took a break...then along comes another beauty and it was game on again.

occassionaly i did the TTOFT, but only if i really wanted to or if there was enough interest to do it...

and it's good to take a break once in awhile just to recoup yourself...


happily hobbying since 2003...

   18 months for me.
I've also taken breaks for a year and 6 to 8 months at different times.
I'm single,but I don't engage in this hobby if I'm seeing someone.When I'm not seeing anyone,my frequency depends on my budget and how horny I am.

   About a year and a half, but that was over 20 years ago. I got married and decided to be good and not hobby. One thing didn't lead to another and there was no sex in the marriage and we divorced. Marriage number 2 I never stopped hobbying and I'm still married to her 20 years later.

   About the first 5 years in the hobby I was scared shitless and just lurked. I've been goin pretty hard ever since. Although last summer I needed some time away and took 6 weeks off. Hobbied twice and was still burned out so I took off 4 more weeks. My hobbying is way down compared to the last 3 years, but with all these specials, it's time to turn up the heat again.

   I'm going on 2 yrs, just lost it's appeal to me. I usually see/date 3/4 gals at a time (non pros) and get laid plenty. I used to see hos for the supplimental thrill, so now I just see regular (civie) gals, much more satisfying. It seems when a woman is in her 30's she wants marriage....but women in their 40's are just happy to have a fuck buddy, or at least are more realistic about sex & fuck buddies.

Why? Most ofus are addicted and would hobby anyway. Very few would be detered by that risk (if the risk of deadly STD's don't stop us nothing would). Only thing you'd accompish is putting a bunch of harmless addicts in jail. No state revenue in that.
