"Spam??"

Has anyone else gotten "unsolicited" inbox messages from providers? At first I thought she was LE, but she has great reviews. I wrote her back saying maybe after new years now I'm getting messages everyday like its spam. This makes her or her pimp look desperate to me.

Your thoughts??

I have received a few unsolicited e-mail from providers.

One was from a provider who was coming to area and the other was from a newbie who got my handle from a friend of hers who I had visited before. Never did hook up with either of them.

Only once, and it wasn't from a provider, per se.

The Kissable Cuties scheduling service let sent me an email when they started up earlier this year to let me know. It didn't bother me because the presentation was professional and discreet, and their website linked to several well-reviewed providers on RB

I found out later that this was the same service that screened me for a provider about 6 mo. previous (which was exactly what I figured).

I've received unsolicited inboxes from a few providers in response to different forum posts. None of them has ever gained my interest. Never received multiple inboxes like what you're getting. Have you asked her to stop? Would you be willing to tell us who it is?

A couple of times

The first time caught me off guard as it was the PO (guy). I inquired in a similar manner as you except I called out the OP's handle. No repercussions--no session.
The 2nd time was directly by a provider. The conversation started based on posts and then diverted to something else.

I haven't received much else--probably a good thing.

I've gotten inbox with comments on posts. I've also gotten calls and last Wednesday I got a series of text messages from providers I had called but decided against for various reasons. I didn't even recognize the numbers the text were sent from. I had to google to figure it out. Really glad this happen after the business day or I'd have been tempted to google the numbers from work. Would not have been a good day.

Who doesn't?

I don't take it personally, and I'm not insulted. A girl's gotta eat.

A few providers are switching to "direct mail" campaigns. There is one girl in Texas that has her Yahoo group and post her daily availability to all who signed up on her mailing list. There is an upscale provider in San Francisco that works more like a "dentist". If she has not seen you in a while, she reminds you that is is time for a "checkup". For the ladies, it is a more discreet way to announce their availability without having their image plastered all over the internet. It is also very effective because the response rate seems to be high.

I used to get a few, not many. That was waaaaayyy back when I utilized my Profile. I included in the comment field, a very lengthy list of what type of girl I was looking for. It was very detailed and stated not to contact me if you don't meet the requirements. I found that many girls do click on the handles of Men who post on the board.

Overall, and it's difficult to remember since it has been several years, I received about 2 a month. Most were from agencies and a few did pan out. I don't do it anymore.

More to the point of your question however --- I don't get spam, it's all board related questions unless it is someone I know and have seen. I like keeping it that way.

Have you ever inboxed a Hooker on the board based on one of her message board posts? While "they" are possibly trolling, if they have reviews and given the incredible amount of girls advertising these days, doesn't seem to be a problem and could be someone of interest you missed while running a search for girls in the classifieds. Or is it?
