"Flake or not flake?"

I understand the RB definition of flake is "no contact, no cancellation, no apology," but what is the time allowed for providers to provide an apology? If a provider flakes and apologizes 5 hours later or a day later, is it still an RB flake?

Regardless of the RB definition, unless there was some emergency where the provider is unable to contact you... lack of notification of cancellation PRIOR to the appointment time is being flaky in my book. An apology is nice, but that does not excuse being flaky.

Do you seriously want an apology? How would it make any difference at all? If she apologizes, maybe, just MAYBE you consider scheduling her again. No apology? Move on. Many others want your business.

Yes.

Some girls, especially the younger ones, will no show, or keep answering your calls or emails too late, and follow with an apology. They will do it repeatedly.

That's just another type of flake strategy.

When they grow up and mature, they will develop the intestinal fortitude to just tell a guy " I don't feel comfortable seeing you." They will usually be pressed for an explanation, and the girl is under no obligation to explain further. But at minimum she owes the spurned client the simple notification to stop trying to meet her.

Personally I feel that NCNS by most veteran providers are rarely a result of not feeling comfortable with the guy. More probable is that they double-booked and chose the hobbyist they have either seen before or a guy who booked a more lucrative (perhaps multi-hour) session.

I have to agree in part, with Nealdown. If a provider was uncomfortable with said hobbyist, she would most likely have not made the appointment in the first place.

As a provider would expect cancellation notice PRIOR to the appointment, so should the hobbyist. How is this different from any other social contact?

It is also comendable of the provider, if she had a legitimate reason to cancel, to offer a future small discount or extra consideration of some sort. Equally, so should the hobbyist, if his cancellation was at the cutting edge of unexcusable. My two cents.

Lastly, it is phenomenal how many are clueless that their 15th attempt to make an appointment with no response might mean a rejection.

A little off topic as your question is more at the definitional aspects of "flake" but as I have stated before:

Much has been written about the frustration for hobbyist when a provider flakes on them. The consequences for providers when a hobbyist flakes on them is harder on them, but that is a different topic. Get VIP Membership and do the research and a lot of the provider flake issue can be avoided.

However, some of the best providers in bed are the shit when it comes to operating on good business principles. Also, a number of people including providers, live in the moment, which can make their lives unmanageable and causes a lot of drama to surround them. If you play with these types of people you have to adopt an “I’ll believe it when it happens” attitude with no expectation that things will come off as planned or suffer a lot of frustration and aggravation. If you have the time and flexibility to work through the chaos some great sessions can be had. Again this is not for everyone and not a standard practice for me, but at times it can have a certain thrill and excitement appeal. When a hot time with lady is not a sure thing there is a certain joy that comes about when you do score.

It should be noted that there are a lot of really hot passionate providers that manage their business well and are dependable. Reading reviews and using VIP search options they are easy to find. One can have ideal sessions without ever being involved with the flaky ones. Also, not all of the flaky ones are good in session. Just another approach to the hobby if one chooses to be adventurous and has time and flexibility. When reading the reviews one can generally tell the hot in bed flakes from the just flakes with no redeeming service qualities.
