"Bad weather"

Do you refrain from the hobby when bad weather hits like the storm that's happening now? I don't like driving when the weather becomes hazardous.

I drove to SF yesterday AM to see the ATF. I drive a small car there in order to park easily. Man, what a journey!! Deep water on 101. Glad she made it worth my while.

Do you bring your examining table along with you? How do you fit it in the car?

Bad weather just makes my drive more interesting, well unless it gets up to 100mph. Of course at that point chances are the power will be out since Northern California still seems to be behind the curve when it comes to burying the power lines so that power doesn't get blow out by little baby storms

This am I choose not to go anywhere due to the storm, lots of stooopid people on the road that don't know how to drive when conditions are dangerous. So I putzed around the house. Now If I was inclined to visit today, a little rain wouldn't stop me at all.

Doesn't matter, rain, sleet, or snow, I'm still going to go!

True, driving gets kind of exciting when it's storming out. But, let's face it, the weather has nothing to do with the horrible drivers in Northern Cal. Rain or shine most people either don't know how to drive or refuse to follow basic vehicle laws.

Makes me want to indulge in the hobby more, but, have to think with the big head. What if you get in an accident and you were somewhere you shouldn't have been??

Just drive carefully. Providers will be less busy, so better service. Market economy, supply and demand.

Bad weather is a good time to go, less customers, more relaxed, more discreet, less chance to run into someone you know, cover yourself more, and a very appreciated RA who rewards you for seeing her anyway.

I agree with MTP. I stay close to home. I kinda enjoy going to one of the local AMPs when its pouring rain outside.

I saw someone on Monday who said it had been very slow due to the weather. She was appreciative and the session went over even though I mentioned the time at the hour mark.

Bad weather has not been a deterent when I get the itch...although as mentioned before I do stay close to home so I know exactly where I am going before I leave. I hate trying to look for street names in an unfamiliar area when it is rainy and roads are slick.

It's good for car dating because you have more privacy with the steamed up windows and everything is darker in the rain.

When it's pouring like it has been I prefer to stay at home instead of trying to find a location I've never been to.
