In response to the previous locked thread, I was at Santana Row last night just after happy hour and ran into an old monger friend who told me his whole strategy for mongering now is hitting the bars in Santana Row and SF that were mentioned in that previous thread. He claimed it has worked well for him for about 6 months now. While he has run into talent he recognizes from RB, he also runs into a good number of what he terms semi-pros... girls who are sellin it but only part time and maybe not advertising online or on the street. Ironically, as we are having this conversation, a woman comes up to him and starts flirting and chatting. She was far too young and good looking to be interested in him so it did make me look twice. I left for a moment as they started to talk with each other. By the time I got back from getting another drink, he was departing with her while winking and smiling at me. I had a good laugh at that but it verified what he had told me. About an hour later I had moved on to the V and I was approached! WTF!?!?! Can it really be this easy? I did not partake as I had a dinner engagement but I shall return.

Secondly, the action at The Row is all around the happy hour. I notice the single ladies disappear later in the evening - so the time window of opportunity closes.

Lastly, why would you prefer a pickup at SR? You're entering in to a transaction with a totally unknown escort or semi-pro. You don't have the benefit of reviews and you run the risk of not getting your money's worth or a true GFE lady. Why take the risk? How's this better than just lining up an appointment with a reputable, known GFE escort?

And, sooner or later, LE's going to catch on (very likely by reading about it here) and one of these days we'll all be reading threads from mongers crying about how they got stung at the Row.
