"about posting reviews with a url"

I am new to the posting reviews thing. Actually I suck at computers anyway( comes with much age)!I want to put a review up on a provider. Every time I try to post, it said to put up a valid url. OK so I know I am sounding stupid. But in plain English : where do I get the url and what is it anyway? Any help from anyone would be much appreciated. I am a old fart and started using computers late in life.

I can see this one because you put it here for me. But their is no url on her ad. And when I am placing a review I do not see where to get a url to put on the form. Is it suppost to be my url or her url. And what if their is no url anywher around at the top of the page? Then how do I even locate it? keep in mind Im not understanding what a browser looks like or how to find it and I dont know what copy or past or opening the same thing in another window means!

the URL is the thing on the top of the page, most commonly starting with "http://www." <--that entire amount of text (plus the part after that) is your URL

A URL is defined as "the address of a web page on the world wide web". If the review you're trying to put up is for someone who already has reviews, then it should be by default already filled or completely empty.

If you're trying to do the first review for a new lady, then you're welcome to put in the web page address of where you found out about her. This could be her personal website, or the URL that has her ads: http://classifieds.myredbook.com/classified.php?uname=USERNAME

Please note, with the URL field for reviews it says "URL http://" so you don't have to type in the "http://" part of the URL into the box.

Just open up the provider's ad in another browser or window. Click the entire title in the top window in order to highlight the ad. Right click, then click Copy. Go back to the review, put your cursor in the space for the url, click Paste.

wow Ill do that. If I knew what you were talking about at all. I mean that I do not know how to open the ad in anything except to go to classifieds and check out her ad.let alone knowing to open it in another window?? and another browser. I really mean that I do not understand much more than getting on the internet and shopping for products and providers! I can do things that I understand the language for. But you just went over my head. i guess I might even be doing some of this stuff one time or another but do not understand the terminology for it. so that makes it hard to post a review for this lady.i dont want to waste my money if I cannot post a review because of not understanding one simple fact. Frusterating!
